Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. He is a robot who survived 200 years waiting for you, 'The Sole Survivor', to come home. He serves as your butler and does close up attacks. Who is he?

Answer: Codsworth

Codsworth is a Mr. Handy robot that cares for the family of the Sole Survivor. He is left at the house as the family flees to Vault 111 and survives the blast. In the 200 years that followed, Codsworth kept himself busy with chores but the toll hit hard on his emotional cores as his worry for the family wore on.

His companion perk, 'Robot Sympathy', gives the player damage resistance against robots such as Assaultrons or a Mr. Gutsy.
2. Players get to meet this companion at the Red Rocket truck stop, an always faithful companion who can sniff out items and stall enemies by biting on their legs or snapping their necks. Who is it?

Answer: Dogmeat

Dogmeat is...well, a dog. One of the first companions you get to meet, he can help find items or weapons and sniff out enemies to do battle with. Dogmeat is also pivotal in the story, helping you find the man who kidnapped your son Shaun, and killed your spouse in Vault 111.

He doesn't have a companion perk, instead you get a perk in your perk chart dedicated to him, called 'Attack Dog', which enables his bite to stall enemies for more VATS accuracy and potentially cause bleeding or crippling of limbs.
3. This man is the leader of the Minutemen, and he desperately needs your help as he maybe the last Minutemen in the Commonwealth. A dying breed who only wants to see the Commonwealth be a thriving homestead for the people, who is this freedom fighter?

Answer: Preston Garvey

Preston Garvey is first seen trapped in the Museum of Freedom in Concord, along with his ragtag group of survivors trying to fend off a rowdy group of raiders. With your help, you get to rebuild Sanctuary Hills and eventually, many other settlements in the Commonwealth. For a time, he was left suicidal when the Minutemen imploded after the Quincy Massacre, and with his remaining settlers, they moved from place to place with only failure being the fruit of their labour.

His main weapon is the Laser Musket, and his companion perk is 'United We Stand', which gives you 20% more damage and an additional 20 damage resistance when facing 3 or more foes.
4. She is a fighting Irish girl who spends her days taking down opponents at the Combat Zone for caps and chems. After one last fight and a breakout of Raiders, she joins you to battle the wasteland. Who is this tough lass?

Afterwards, she lived as a prize fighter in the Combat Zone before the Sole Survivor appears and recruits her from manager Tommy.

She loves consuming chems until you help with her addiction in a quest, and her perk is 'Trigger Rush', which boosts Action Points regeneration by 25% when your at 25% health.
5. She is a Ms. Nanny robot scientist who finds the Commonwealth as a place full of wonder and new research despite all its misery. Who is this curious figure?

Answer: Curie

Curie can be found at the end of the quest 'Vault 81 & the Hole in the Wall', where she is the last remaining member of a team of scientists who were developing diseases and serums via mole rats. She is programmed with a unique personality based on Einstein, Kant and Marie Curie. Midway in journeying with her, she will ask for a change to become human to further her scientific endeavors.

Her companion perk is 'Combat Medic', which allows Curie to heal 100 hit points once per day if you fall below 10% health.

Strong is rescued when the Sole Survivor hears the radio message from Rex. Strong then proclaims how he wants to find the 'milk of human kindness', a drink to make him understand the key to the power of humans.

He is one of the toughest companions around, usually armed with a sledgehammer and enjoys big guns like a minigunm. His perk is 'Bezerk', which gives you a 20% boost in melee damage when you are heavily damaged.
7. A resident of Diamond City, she is an embattled newspaper reporter who wants to expose the truth to the people, though she has only made many enemies within and outside the city. Who is she?

Deacon once discriminated suspected Synths in his youth and joined a gang who lynched them. Eventually growing disgusted by these actions, he left them and married a woman who turned out to be a Synth. 10. Now we bring you to an old school detective, and trouble seems to find him everytime. His office is in the market area of Diamond City and helps people with any case. Who is this Synth Detective?

Answer: Nick Valentine
