Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Frank Sunderland, the superintendent of the South Ashfield Apartments is related to another Silent Hill character, James Sunderland. What was Frank to James again?

Answer: His father

Henry mentions this when he is looking at a picture in his apartment that was given to him by Frank. Frank had told him that "His son and daughter in law disappeared in Silent Hill years ago." This is later confirmed by the producer.
2. Harry Masons wife died a couple years after they had found Cheryl on the side of the road. Exactly how old was Cheryl when this incident occurred?

Answer: 3

When she was 3, Cheryl's adoptive mother (her name isn't mentioned) died of an illness, but we don't know which one; perhaps the one that killed Mary...
3. Life just isn't fair as Angela Orosco learned at a very young age and sometimes things just happen that you can no longer deal with. How does Angela decide to end her own life?

Answer: Unknown

Although many people say that she took her own life via fire (She is seen walking up a stairway of fire, signifying her death), but it is never actually proven. The stair scene is more metaphorical then fact.
4. Walter Sullavin grew up in 'Wish House' back in Silent Hill but would make weekly visits to South Ashfield Apartments and soon makes a new friend, Eileen. What did she give him?

Answer: A Doll

She gave him a doll because she didn't want him to be sad. Walter mentions this on the stairway in the Alternate Ashfield apartment building on your first time there. He puts a doll next to him and tells you that Eileen gave it to him when they were younger and that you could have it now. You can either take the doll or not, but it has a bit of an effect on how some of the game runs. Truthfully, it's not worth it.
5. When fleeing to "Silent Hill" Eddie Dombrowski picked up a very young hitchhicker, Laura. What was he driving at the time?

Answer: A pizza van

It's never shown during actual game play, but we see this on the making of DVD and in the games intro movie. Perhaps he borrowed it from work...
6. Poor Alessa, she lived such a hard life, then as if to add insult to injury, she is sacrificed in a (painful)ritual that didn't even work. Now I can't quite remember, how old was she when this happened?

Answer: 7

It was her very own mother who sacrificed her, but knowing that she would give birth to a god, Alessa split her soul in half and created a new self, Cheryl. Cheryl returned to Silent Hill when she was 7 and Alessa is 14, so 14 minus 7 is 7.
7. Henry's has no connection to the town of "Silent Hill" prior to the events of "Silent Hill 4."

Answer: False

He had visited the town to take photographs, but no other connection has ever been mentioned, in fact that was one of the things that made the game so disappointing.
8. Everyone remembers ol' Father Vincent, right? What did Vincent believe in that everyone else in the order shunned?

Answer: Money

He believed that the order would get no where without money, and he was right. Unfortunately, he was outnumbered by the those who believed otherwise.
9. We can't forget about Dr. Kaulffman, who intentions in the game are not particularly clear... what was his job again?

Answer: Director

He is the director of Alchmilla hospital and supplier of the drug White Claudia. He is also the one responsible for the care of Alessa, but he passes that job on to the poor nurse Lisa.
10. Trevor the lovable trucker, is forced through the town by Alessa and his haunted past, but can only see the darkness of the town via what?

Answer: mirrors

He uses mirrors to traverse the world of Silent Hill, unknowingly being led along by Alessa.
