Answer: Calypso from "Twisted Metal"

According to legend, the monkey's paw was a hand-shaped relic that granted its owner five wishes with one of its fingers breaking each time a wish was made. However, the wisher often forgot to be specific and think things through, resulting in making a problematic situation for them and often leaving them worse off than when they found it. Similarly, Calypso often takes liberties with the wishes of those who win his tournament and the winner often gets screwed over.

Answer: The Vortex from "Ecco the Dolphin"

About halfway through "Ecco the Dolphin", players will encounter a level called The Library. It serves little purpose outside of some exposition including the revelation that Atlantis sank beneath the waves after being devastated by an orbital strike from Planet Vortex and that the stars on Ecco's head form the constellation Delphinus. Players are also told that the Vortex feed off of Earth's sea life every 500 years and learn the whereabouts of the Planet Vortex.

Answer: Dr. Robotnik from "Sonic the Hedgehog"

When Sega was looking for a series to rival Mario and replace Alex Kidd as their mascot, multiple character designs were submitted from within the company. The comically obese Robotnik would later become the villain of said franchise. Another proposed design was that of an anthropomorphic armadillo who would later be introduced into the "Sonic" franchise as Mighty. One of Sonic's earliest concepts was that of a rabbit that stretched out its ears.

This idea would later be reworked into "Ristar".

Answer: "Okage: Shadow King"

In "Okage: Shadow King", the evil king Stanley Hihat Trinidad XIV forces a young boy into a world of adventure in an attempt to steal his powers back from 'phony, fake evil kings'. After reaching the port town of Rashelo, the player is introduced to Princess Marlene and her butler Beiloune. Towards the end of the game, Beiloune reveals the entire world the game takes place in is one of his own creation. Unsatisfied with how it turned out, he threatens to destroy it thus forcing the player's party into action.

Answer: Singularity from "Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror"

As the battle with Singularity unfolds, he will talk about protagonist Gabriel Logan's past. Particular events mentioned include the unintentional murder of viral testing victims in "Syphon Filter", the betrayal of Jason Chance in "Syphon Filter 2" and Logan's repeated failure to subdue Mara Aramov throughout the series.

Answer: Sigma from "Megaman X4"

In "Megaman X4", after revealing to Zero that they once fought before Zero became a Maverick Hunter and Sigma a Maverick, he proceeds to change appearance three times throughout the battle resulting in four different forms ranging from a simplistic grim reaper-esque design to an odd robotic gunman.

Both Dauragon and Specter had two forms in their listed games and while Seven Force does in fact have seven forms, it isn't actually a final boss.

Over the course of the game, the protagonist Shanoa is tasked with rescuing kidnapped townsfolk. Shortly after rescuing the final citizen, Dracula's castle rises again foreboding an inevitable confrontation with him. After defeating his first form however, Dracula simply throws his cape behind him and begins attacking more ferociously. At no point during the battle does he transform.

Answer: Dr. Wily from "Megaman"

While Dr. Wily has most certainly utilized skull symbolism--most notably in the "Megaman Megamix" series of manga--he didn't actually use his trademark skull-shaped creations in the original "Megaman". Instead, he piloted an odd UFO-like machine that launched fireballs in a curving arch.

Answer: H. R. Malone from "Urban Strike"

Having been defeated at the end of "Jungle Strike", Carlos Ortega undergoes surgery and remakes himself as H.R. Malone, a much-beloved politician. It is soon revealed however that he plans on attacking the American government with a powerful laser cannon. Towards the end of the game, Malone shoots the Twin Towers with the completed super-weapon, leaving a gaping hole in the side of the buildings which bears an eerie resemblance to the tragedy of September 11th.

Answer: Greedy from "Ristar"

Conquering far more than the other three pirates combined, Greedy once held control over the seven planets that made up the Valdi system. At one point, he even manages to capture the once-great hero of the galaxy only to be eventually done in by the hero's son, Ristar.
