Answer: Mushroom Way

Mario's first equippable weapon is the Hammer, and it can be obtained after we defeat our first boss, the Hammer Bros. at the end of Mushroom Way. After the battle, Toad will bring us the hammer, with the Hammer Bros' insignia on it, and we can immediately equip it. Throughout the game, Mario will use various gloves, hammers, and shells to inflict physical damage. All equipped weapons are assigned to the A button during battle.

Answer: Seaside Town

After defeating Johnny and earning the fifth star, we can return to Seaside Town. When we arrive, the fake Elder and his cronies will decide to take the star back to Smithy's factory, but if we chase them to the edge of the sea, they will transform into Yaridovich.

After defeating him, we can get the star and the Shed Key which will unlock the shed in Seaside Town and free the residents. Now, Seaside Town will be a fully-functioning town free of danger.

Answer: Moleville

After defeating Punchinello and claiming the third star in the depths of Moleville Mountain, we can finally find Dyna and Mite, who have been trapped in the mines. If we take them into a mine cart, we can ride them to safety outside the mountain, but we'll crash through the roof of their house.

When we return to Moleville later, we can visit the Mine Cart Track where we can replay the track for high scoring times.

Answer: Rose Way

After Smithy's Sword, Exor, crashed through Bowser's Keep, Bowser, Princess Toadstool, and Mario were split up. Mario landed at Mario's Pad, Princess Toadstool landed in Booster's Tower, and Bowser landed in between. On the road to Booster Tower, Bowser will lose his allies and will let us join the Koopa Squad (although he's really joining our party) at the base of Booster's Tower. We don't actually add Princess Toadstool to the party until we've saved her in Marrymore and brought her home to Mushroom Kingdom.

Answer: Midas River

After we fight Belome in Kero Sewers, we will be sent on our first ride down Midas River. While heading down the river, we can earn coins (which will eventually earn Frog Coins) as well as Flowers to bring up our FP total. After our first run of the Midas River trials, we'll get an equippable item for Mario, the NokNokShell. Throughout the world, we can find many different entrances to Midas Falls, and although we'll see enemies, we won't fight them.

There are many enemies on Booster Pass and we fight Yaridovich in Seaside Town.

In Monstro Town, we can fight Culex, the optional boss, and Jinx in the dojo.

Answer: Factory

Smithy is the one responsible for making most of the star-searching bosses in this game. As we make our way through the factory, we'll have the chance to face off against many of the easier bosses (and some of the harder ones) as they are produced off of the assembly lines of the factory.

At certain points, we'll also face off against new opponents either working in the factory (like Countdown and the Manager) as well as those made in the factory (like Gunyolk).

Answer: Yo'ster Isle

If we go through Pipe Vault (which is after Rose Town and Forest Maze) we can end up at the tropical Yo'ster Isle. Then again, we could always cut across the area since it's entirely optional. At Yo'Ster Island, we can saddle up onto Yoshi's back and race Boshi, the blue dinosaur, down the track. If Yoshi wins, all of the dinosaurs can race. Yo'ster Island is where one of the Three Musty Fears' flags can be found as well.

Answer: Bowser's Castle

Terrapins are only found on Mario's first visit to Bowser's Castle in the very beginning of the game. They only do one damage each, and one hit from Mario will defeat them. They also don't give any experience. Aside from Terrapins, we will also beat Bowser on the chandeliers in his throne room by hitting the Kinklink. During our second visit to the lair, Terrapins will be replaced by Terra Cottas, and they will no longer be controlled by Bowser.

Answer: Nimbus Land

In Nimbus Land, we can only visit the Royal Family's Hot Springs after we get rid of Valentina and Dodo and save King and Queen Nimbus. After this, Mallow will be allowed in since he is the prince, and we can fall off of the clouds and into Barrel Volcano, where the sixth star waits. After Barrel Volcano, we can ride to Bowser's Keep.

Answer: Star Hill

Star Hill is between Marrymore and Seaside Town. There's not really much here except for some weird enemies, Star Gates, and the fourth star of the game. After this star, we need to head to Johnny's sunken ship for the fifth star. Star Hill is possibly the closest point to Star Road in the game.
