1. We all know about Heishiro Mitsurugi...but there is another version of him. Who is he?

Answer: Arthur

South Korea forbade samurai and ninja references in video games, so Arthur (a British knight) replaced him in those specific games. He is the same as Mitsurugi except he has blond hair, blue eyes and an eye patch.

2. Hephaestus told this character to destroy the evil blades of Soul Edge. They succeeded in destroying one of the blades. Who was this?

Answer: Sophitia

She destroyed one blade, but the shards of it hurt her too much and she was unable to continue. Luckily, Taki came in to finish things.

3. Li-Long sought Soul Edge so he could get to Mitsurugi because he thought Mitsurugi killed his woman. Who is this woman's name?

Answer: Chie

It turned out that Chie was NOT killed by Mitsurugi. She wasn't even dead. Li-Long meanwhile, ran into Cervantes and lost.

4. Who is a demon hunter who sought Cervantes to destroy the evil blades?

Answer: Taki

Taki accomplished her task and rescued Sophitia in the process. She pulled shards of Soul Edge out of Sophitia and merged it with one of her blades.

5. These were Voldo's weapons on his first search for Soul Edge. What were they called?

Answer: Karma & Mara

Karma & Mara are his weapons in "Soul Blade", Shame & Blame are his "Soul Calibur" weapons and Manas & Ayus are his "Soul Calibur II" weapons. Cat Claws are not his official weapons in any game, but rather bonus weapons.

He took the blade, but it took over him and he became the Azure Knight, Nightmare. He would not escape the sword until "Soul Calibur III"

Rock's real parents had Soul Edge while sailing across the Atlantic when Cervantes' crew attacked. Rock made it out and arrived in North America. He never saw his parents again.

8. Who is a "Hero in a War-like Age"?

Answer: Hwang

Hwang hasn't been a standard character since "Soul Blade", but he's unlockable in "Soul Calibur" and "Soul Calibur III". Yungsung seems to have taken his place in the series.

9. Cervantes' original reason for seeking Soul Edge was to get it for which person?

Answer: Vercci

He did find it, but the sword devoured his soul and he went on a killing spree. He ended up killing his entire crew in the process, but he has no memory of it.
