2. You are meeting somebody for the first time. They are a complete stranger and don't know your name, which is Lucy. How would you politely tell them this?

3. Back to your meeting with your friend. You have had lunch and now you must be going. How would you say: "see you soon"?

Answer: Ci vediamo or arrivederci

Both "ci vediamo" and "arrivederci" mean "see you soon". "Arrivederci" also means "goodbye".
4. You meet somebody you know - not a total stranger, but not a close friend. How would you formally ask them: "How are you?"?

Answer: come sta?

"Come stai?" is an informal way to ask "How are you?". In Italy, you would not ask a complete stranger "come stai?" as part of a greeting.
5. Enough meetings. Your close friend has done you a great favor. How do you express your undying gratitude, which goes beyond simple "thanks"?

Answer: molte grazie or grazie mille

"Molte grazie" means "Thank you very much". "Grazie mille" is "a thousand thanks". "Prego" is the odd one out - it means "you're welcome".
6. You have just arrived somewhere and need instructions. First, though, you need to make sure that the person you're asking for them speaks English. What would you say that?

Answer: parla inglese? or parlate inglese?

Both of these expressions mean "Do you speak English?". "Spagnolo" means Spanish. "Francese" means French, "tedesco" means German, and "italiano" means Italian.
7. Now, thanks to this quiz, you can speak a little Italian. However, the person you're talking to is jabbering so fast that you can't catch a word. You say "Parli piu' lentamente, per favore" to ask them to speak slower.

Answer: True

"Per favore" means "please". "Parlare" means "to talk", "to speak".
8. It's always important to stay safe on your journey. If, God forbid, something happens to you, how would you yell "help"?

Answer: Aiuto!

"Aiuto" means "help". "Fuori" means "out". "Allora" means "so".
9. Before you leave Italy, you decide to go shopping. Unfortunately, you have trouble finding specific things in the store. How would you ask someone "I'm looking for...?"

Answer: cerco...?

"Avete...? would be used to ask "Do you have...?". "Vendete...?" is similar, meaning "Do you sell...?".
10. Finally, and sadly, you are leaving Italy. Your close friend wishes you "buon viaggio". What did they say?

Answer: Have a nice trip

"Arrivederci" or "ciao" is what they would say for "goodbye"... and is what I now say to you! I hope you enjoyed this quiz and learned some Italian!
