Philippines currency has also featured Reagan, McKinley and Franklin Roosevelt, while George Washington has appeared on currencies issued by Isle of Man, Turks and Caicos Islands and the Cook Islands.
2. Which country unveiled a new 100 ruble bill featuring goalkeeper Lev Yashin, prior to the 2018 football World Cup?

Answer: Russia

Russia issued 20 million of these 100 ruble notes before the start of the World Cup, featuring arguably the greatest goalkeeper ever. He spent his entire club football career with Dynamo Moscow, winning the league five times and appeared in all four World Cups between 1954 and 1966, representing his country. Yashin was voted best goalkeeper of the 20th century by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics.

Martin, together with Captain Valentine Baker, established the Martin-Baker aircraft company in 1934 and set about making perfecting their design for ejector seats. Baker was killed during a test flight in 1942, but today the company is one of the largest producers of aircraft ejector seats.

In 1946, Viola Desmond mistakenly sat in an area of a movie theatre reserved for white patrons. She was forcibly removed from the theatre, spent 12 hours in jail and was convicted in court of depriving the government of the difference of the tax on the ticket she bought and the tax on a ticket price for where she sat, an amount of one cent.

In 2010, she was granted the first ever posthumous pardon ever issued by Canada and in 2018 became the first Canadian-born woman to appear alone on a Canadian bank note.

The name "Gibraltar" is the Spanish derivation of the Arabic name Jabal Ṭariq meaning "mountain of Ṭariq".

Tesla left his native land in in the Austrian Empire (present day Croatia) in 1884 and became an American citizen while working for Thomas Edison's Edison Machine Works. He also featured on the Yugoslav 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, 5,000,000 and 10,000,000,000 dinara at various points during the country's history as well as the 5 New dinara note of 1994.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service, the world's first air ambulance, was founded in 1928 by Reverend John Flynn as the Australian Inland Misson Aerial Medical Service. In its first year of operation, the service flew approximately 32,186 kilometres in 50 flights and by 2015 they were flying 73,000 kilometres in over 200 flights per day.

The Flying Doctor motto is "The furthest corner, the finest care".

Also in the series are authors Astrid Lindgren (Pippi Longstocking (1945)) and Evert Taube (I Come From A Raging Sea (1967)) as well as soprano Birgit Nilsson.

Nesty became the first athlete from Suriname, and only the second from South America to win an Olympic gold for swimming, when he beat Matt Biondi by just one hundredth of a second in the 100 metre butterfly at the 1988 Seoul games. He was honoured on the 25 guilder note from 1991 to 1998.
