Answer: Tybee Island Lighthouse

The lighthouse is located on Tybee Island, GA, 10 miles east of Savannah. The scenery around the tower was added to the movie scene, and the daymark has changed. In the film, it was white on the bottom, black on the top. Now, the daymark is black/white/black.

It is in the beginning 20 minutes of the film. Tybee Island was made to look like a swampy spot in Louisiana, which it is not. Also, the beacon in the film rotates in a circle, where the actual beacon pulsates.

Answer: Cape Florida Lighthouse

This one is located on Key Biscayne, FL, in Miami. The lighthouse appears when the bar owner takes Paige on a romantic walk on the beach. It is also seen in a discount hotel commercial circa 2012-2013. All lighthouses have a history, but this one has seen lots of violence, and it is worth a look into the story of this tower.

Answer: Fire Island Lighthouse

Located near the south end of Long Island, NY. The lighthouse appears in the beginning of the film when J (Will Smith) tries to get K (Tommy Lee Jones) to come back to the MIB. I'm not sure if there is really a post office under the tower as depicted in the film, but it is a great shot of the tower all the same.

Answer: Bald Head Island Lighthouse

Located at the mouth of the Cape Fear River in NC, on Bald Head Island. Nicknamed Old Baldy, it is in my opinion the only redeeming feature of that movie. Like the lighthouse in 'Heartbreakers' it appears when one of the male characters takes his date for a walk on the beach.

However, as in 'The General's Daughter', the scene was changed. The tower itself is surrounded by small trees, and beyond them is swampland. The beach is a good 1/2 mile away. The lighthouse is also in 'The Butcher's Wife' but I haven't seen that movie.

Answer: Cape Henry Lighthouses

The lighthouse is located on Ft Story, Virginia, on the southern entrance to the Chesapeake Bay. Cape Henry has two lighthouse towers, about 200 yards apart. The one in the movie appears as a brief backdrop a couple times, so don't miss it.

Answer: Morris Island Lighthouse

Located off Folly Beach in Charleston, SC, it appears in the scene where Rhett and Scarlett are shipwrecked and washed up on the beach. It is a GREAT shot of the lighthouse as well.

Answer: Alcatraz Island Lighthouse

The lighthouse still works, and is included in the Alcatraz tour. It is on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay, and is seen several times in the movie on zoomed-out shots of Alcatraz.

Answer: Edgartown Harbor Lighthouse and Gay Head Lighthouse

Edgartown pops up in several scenes, at the entrance to the bay. Probably the most famous landmark on Martha's Vineyard. In fact, both lighthouses are on Martha's Vineyard. Gay Head appears in the background when Brody is talking to the mayor when they are discussing closing the beach. Incidentally, the lighthouse in the killer whale scene of Jaws 2 is a prop.

Answer: Chicago Harbor Lighthouse

This lighthouse looks a little out of place behind downtown Chicago, but it is still a sight worth seeing, and makes for a unique photo! It can be aeen in the opening scenes of the movie.

Answer: Marshall Point Lighthouse

Located on Port Clyde, Maine, it appears in the scene where Forrest runs to the end of the east coast down the ramp to the lighthouse.
