Answer: tomb

Newgrange was constructed as a burial tomb. It sits atop a hill looking down into the Boyne valley. An entrance leads down a passageway into the tomb and opens into a burial chamber. Two smaller chambers lead of to either side.
2. How many years did it take to build Newgrange?

Answer: 40

Newgrange consists of 450 boulders and over one million sacks of stones. (No I don't know how big the sacks were.)

Answer: Winter Solstice

Answer: he was conceived there

Cuchulainn possibly the greatest of Irish heroes and defended Ireland many times. In battle he took on a hidieous form, one eye shrank the other ballooned to enormous size, and his hair stood on end dripping blood. Cuchulainn met his end when he was tricked into eating dog meat and lost his strength.
5. How old is Newgrange?

Answer: 5000 years
