Answer: Florida

Growing up in South Florida, I actually drove to the southern terminus of I-75 many times to travel through Dade County on SR 826 which is commonly known as the Palmetto Expressway. In Broward County of South Florida, there is an East-West highway known as I-595 the links several major north-south highways including I-75, I-95, and the Florida Turnpike.
2. The northern terminus of I-75 is actually at an international border on a bridge linking the state of Michigan with the Canadian province of Ontario. What is the name of this bridge which connects two cities on opposite sides of the border with the same name?

Answer: Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge

Interstate 75 ends at the Canadian border where the roadway then becomes Huron Street in Sault Ste. Marie in Ontario. In 2016, the population of Sault Ste. Marie in Ontario was about 73,000 whereas the Sault Ste. Marie in Michigan had a population of just 14,000.

The state of Michigan actually has the second-longest border of any U.S. state with Canada at 721 miles through numerous junctions on both its Upper and Lower Peninsulas.
3. The state of Georgia contains 355 miles of highway Interstate 75 and passes through three large cities within the state. Which city, the county seat of Bibb County, does I-75 pass through for about 10 miles?

Answer: Macon

With a population of about 154,000 in 2014 the city of Macon was the fifth-largest in the state of Georgia and due to its central location it is known as the "Heart of Georgia". In addition to Macon, I-75 also passes through the cities of Atlanta and Valdosta within Georgia.

The Atlanta portion of I-75 runs for about 15 miles and due to its heavy traffic some areas have as many as 15 lanes.
4. Unlike Interstate 95 which travels through many coastal cities Interstate 75 only passes through a few. Containing a public liberal arts college known as New College, in which Gulf Coast city could you traverse on I-75?

Answer: Sarasota, Florida

Other Gulf Coast cities along I-75 in the state of Florida include Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, Naples, Sarasota, and Venice. In total, I-75 runs for 471 miles in the state of Florida, the longest distance of any interstate in any state east of the Mississippi River.
5. Of the six states that Interstate 75 passes through, the state of Tennessee has the shortest portion at 172 miles. Site of the 1982 World's Fair and sports teams known as the Volunteers, through which city does I-75 run concurrent with Interstate 40?

Answer: Toledo

In 2010, Toledo was the fourth most populous city in Ohio with a population of 287,000. The phrase "Holy Toledo" is derived from Toledo, Spain, which is known for its churches. In the United States, the phrase is typically used to describe something unbelievable.

Answer: Alligator Alley

Comically, during construction the name Alligator Alley was actually meant derogatorily since the American Automobile Association initially believed the road would be more useful for alligators than cars. Eventually the name stuck and in 1966 the name was officially adopted for the approximately 80 mile portion of I-75.
