Phallic means representing a phallus or a penis. (The lack of one in women would suggest that phallacy would be a suitable word). A better equivalent would be yonic, which comes from the sanskrit word for womb and is a representation of the vulva symbolising the feminine principle in Hinduism
Main Entry: yo·ni
Pronunciation: ˈyō-nē
Function: noun
Etymology: Sanskrit, vulva
Date: 1799
: a stylized representation of the female genitalia that in Hinduism is a sign of generative power and that symbolizes the goddess Shakti — compare lingam
