Answer: "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
Obviously, Jesus knew all the teachers of the law and the Pharisees had left because they had publicly acknowledged they were not without sin and were thus unable to throw a stone at her. He was pointing out the obvious to the woman: that in the reality of things, they were not really any different from her.

Answer: When the stone is removed, there will be a stench from the body.
The NKJV Bible quotes the sister of the dead man, saying, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days." Remember his body was in a tomb in the hot Mediterranean sun. As stated in the answer to Question 4, it wouldn't be a case of rigor mortis being set in, it would be a case of decaying flesh. The smell would be repugnant. In other words, Lazarus was a stinking corpse!

Answer: "Lazarus, come forth."
John 11:42 says what happened next: "And he that was dead came forth, bound head and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, 'Loose him, and let him go.'"

Answer: "Go, call your husband and come back."
She had told Jesus that she had no husband. Jesus, knowing she had no husband, told her that she had already had five husbands, and that the man she was currently with, was not her husband.
From Quiz: Woman at the Well
Answer: Jesus says that it will be for God's glory.
"When he heard this, Jesus said, 'This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it.' Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. Yet when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days." (John 11 v. 4-6)
The actions of Jesus in delaying are slightly discordant with the caring picture painted elsewhere but do tally with John's portrayal of a man whose divine side gives him foreknowledge of events.
The raising of Lazarus is the last of the miraculous signs that John sees as evidence for Jesus' contemporaries that he is the messiah, and also intended as proof for John's readers. His desired response is summed up in the words of Lazarus' sister Martha which immediately precede the miracle:
"'Yes, Lord,' she told him, 'I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world'" (John 11 v. 27).

Answer: lay down his life for his friends
It says in John 15:13, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
Jesus said this knowing that He, Himself, would be soon giving up His own life for all sinners.
From Quiz: The Gospel of John
Answer: "Where is the right place to worship?" "Neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem"
The answer He gave seems to have to do with God being spirit, and not limited to a place. True worshipers will "worship the Father in spirit and truth," He says. Those are the kind of people He says God is looking for. (John 4:23)
From Quiz: Thirsty? Try a Drink from John 4
Answer: Joseph and Nicodemus
Joseph was a disciple of Jesus and Nicodemus had visited Jesus secretly earlier. Because both of these men were members of the Jewish council, they had been secret followers of Him. Now, at Jesus's death, they finally came out of secrecy to lay the Lord in the tomb.
From Quiz: The Gospel of John
Answer: Teacher
Rabboni is a Jewish term for master or teacher and that is how Mary Magdalene addresses Jesus. At first she doesn't recognize Him, but when He says her name, she does. Mary Magdalene is the first person to see Jesus after His resurrection. Jesus then tells her to go and tell His disciples that He is risen. Jubilant, she goes to spread the good news.

Answer: "Then neither do I condemn you. Go now and leave your life of sin."
Jesus told the woman "then neither do I condemn you. Go now and leave your life of sin." However, it must be stressed that this does not mean Jesus approved of what the woman had done. He was simply telling her to leave her life of sin behind, and to begin life anew.
