Answer: Caiaphas
Caiaphas was the leader of a religious group called the Sadducees. He was opposed to any changes that would jeopardize his group's standing with the Romans. In John 11:49-50, he said "...You do not realize that it better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish."

Answer: 12
John 6:1-14. Interestingly, John records that there were 5,000 men. There may well have been women and children, too.

Answer: Disciples during a storm
The disciples were in a ship headed to Capernaum when a storm hit three to four miles from land. Jesus reassured the disciples with those words when He walked out on the water to meet the ship.

Answer: resurrection
The missing word is 'resurrection'.
Jesus made the 'I am Statement' in John 11 when He raised Lazarus from the dead at Bethany. According to Scripture, Lazarus had been dead for four days and his body was starting to decay when Jesus brought him back to life. Lazarus was the brother of Mary and Martha, the best known sisters in the New Testament.
Jesus made His 'I am Statement; to Martha in the presence of a number of other mourners. To put the verse in context, I recommend reading John 11:20-27.

Answer: "But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep"
Jesus compared all of mankind to the lowly sheep. Some, however, He said do not belong to Him, and because of that, they do not recognize His voice.
"And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one."
(Now, it just seems to me that Jesus could not POSSIBLY have made His claim to being the Son of God any more clear, nor more obvious in this text. The Jewish leadership at this point grabbed up rocks with which to stone him, but Jesus merely escaped out of their hands.

Answer: "Lazarus, come forth"
Lazarus was the brother of Mary and Martha, whom were good friends of Jesus and lived in Bethany. When Jesus found out that Lazarus was sick, he decided to stay in Judea two days longer before going to Bethany. When he arrived and learned of Lazarus' death he asked to go see the tomb to which He spoke. Then Lazarus came out of the tomb wrapped from head to toe. You can read this story in John 11:1-45.

Answer: Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger.
That Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger is the correct answer. However, there is no indication of what he wrote on the ground. We can only surmise what message he wrote for the group to see.

Answer: "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died."
"Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died," is the correct answer. It's interesting to note that in verse 32, the second sister says the same words to Jesus. In other words, they're indirectly blaming Jesus for the death of their beloved brother Lazarus.

Answer: Jacob's
Jesus was near a plot of ground that Jacob had given to his son Joseph, who was of Jesus' ancestry. The well on this site was called Jacob's well. Jacob bought the land in Genesis 33 and gave to Joseph in Genesis 48 before he died.

Answer: Nicodemus
"Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, 'Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him.'" (John 3 v. 1-2)
Nicodemus appears on two further occasions in the gospel. These are in chapter 7, where, in conversation with his fellow Pharisees, he speaks up for Jesus, and after Jesus' death when he assists Joseph of Arimathea in burying the body (John 19 v. 39).
