Answer: Dolphins

The Redcliffe Dolphins protested the choice of name, and the Gold Coast venture agreed to find a new name to avoid legal action.

Answer: Scott Prince and Luke Bailey

Scott Prince originally played for the Broncos and then moved to Tigers. Luke Bailey previously played for the Dragons.

The club formed in 1935 and were formerly known as "Cantabs", "The See Bees" and "The Berries". Canterbury-Bankstown took on the name "Bulldogs" in 1978 when the club decided it needed a name that was synonymous with determination and grit.

The North Queensland Cowboys began their first season playing football in 1995. The Cowboys were not successful much in their first season, but then after many more seasons they became better.

The Storm won 17 of their first 24 games during the 1998 NRL season (71 percent). Newcastle only won 5 out of 22 in the 1988 NSWRL competition, and the Broncos fared a bit better the same year, with 8 from 22.

It used to be known as Lang Park but is now Suncorp due to its sponsors, Suncorp Metway. They returned to it against the Newcastle Knights slightly before Origin 1. In just a handful of games there, many players sustained major knee injuries due to the questionable sandy surface (hence the nickname 'Sandcorp'. Most of these players were from the Sydney Roosters, including the 2002 Clive Churchill medallist, Craig Fitzgibbon.

He achieved this for Melbourne in 1999 as the best player in their 20-18 grand final win over the St George-Illawarra Dragons. He played first grade for Newcastle in 1995, Hunter Mariners in 1997, Melbourne from 1998 to 2000, Northern Eagles in 2001, and joined Cronulla in 2002.

Peter Sterling, one of the greatest halfbacks to ever play rugby league, spent his entire career playing for Parramatta. He debuted for the team in 1978 and played his final game in 1992, leading the Eels to four premiership wins during his time there. Sterling was a key player in Parramatta's successful period in the 1980s, earning the nickname "Sterlo" from fans and teammates alike. He was known for his excellent kicking game and tactical awareness on the field, and is widely regarded as one of the sport's smartest players. After retiring from playing, Sterling went on to become a successful commentator and analyst, and is still closely associated with the Parramatta club.

Joined competition in 1921 and merged with the Illawarra Steelers in 1999 to form the StGeorge-Illawarra Dragons. Their colours are Red and White.

After going down in a close match to St George-Illawarra (20-18) in Round ONe, the Titans won their first ever match at home against the Sharks, winning 18-16.

South Sydney and Eastern Suburbs are the two remaining foundation clubs of the National Rugby League, "The Rabbitohs" earned their name from players earning extra money selling rabbits in the streets of South Sydney. The cry of the rabbit sellers being "Rabbitoh".

The Cowboys played their first ever Grand Final in 2005 playing against the West Tigers. The Cowboys lost this Grand Final against the Tigers by over ten points.

Amazingly, this was their home ground from 1910-1999 (and the NSWRL had only been established in 1908). They were contemplating a move to Gosford's Express Advocate Stadium for 2000 but were forced to merge with Manly, becoming the Northern Eagles.

St George spent many successful years there. After they merged with Illawarra for the 1999 season, they had to give up the ground for renovations because it did not fulfill the NRL's new criteria. During this time they used the SFS as an alternative. They made a return to Kogarah (as Oki Jubilee Oval) in 2003.
