Dick Van Dyke played these characters. In his television career, Dick Van Dyke played Dr. Mark Sloan in "Diagnosis Murder". From Van Dyke's movie career, Caractacus Potts is a character from "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", and Cecil is a character from "Night at the Museum". Additionally and perhaps most famously, Van Dyke was Rob Petrie from "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and Bert/Mr. Dawes from the movie "Mary Poppins".

He has also starred as Danny Ocean in the 2001 remake of "Ocean's Eleven". He received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for "Syriana" (2005) and a Best Picture Oscar for producing "Argo" (2012).
