1. Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe was born on June 1, 1926, and died on August 4, 1962. She won many awards, including a Golden Globe, multiple Henrietta Awards, and was nominated for two BAFTAs. Among her famous film roles are that of Lorelei Lee in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" (1953) and Amanda Dell in "Let's Make Love" (1960).

From 1942 to 1946, Marilyn was married to James Dougherty. She married baseball star Joe DiMaggio in 1954 but divorced him in 1955. Her last husband was Arthur Miller, whom she marries in 1956 and divorced in 1961. Marilyn's death is officially recorded as probable suicide by barbiturate overdose. However, there were multiple conspiracy theories and we are left wondering whether it could be suicide, murder, or accident. She was only 36 years old, and died in Los Angeles, California.
2. Vivian Leigh

Vivian Leigh was born on November 5, 1913, and died on July 8, 1967. Her birth name was Vivian Mary Hartley, but she adopted the name Leigh after her first husband. For her role as Scarlett O'Hara in the 1939 film "Gone With the Wind" she won an Oscar for Best Actress. She won another Best Actress Oscar for her role as Blanche DuBois in the 1951 film "A Streetcar Named Desire".

From 1932 to 1940, Vivian Leigh was married to Herbert Leigh Holman, with whom she had a daughter. Holman granted her a divorce after she started an affair with Laurence Olivier. Vivian married Olivier in 1940 but he divorced her in 1960. Vivian Leigh died in London, England, due to tuberculosis. She was 53.
3. Elvis Presley

Don't believe this to be a trick question. While most of us know Elvis as a singer, he indeed was also an actor.

Elvis Presley was born on January 8, 1935, and died on August 16, 1977. He had somewhere between 30 and 40 film roles, one of which was that of Ross Carpenter in the 1962 comedy "Girls! Girls! Girls!". Elvis's last film role was that of Dr John Carpenter in the 1969 film "Change of Habit".

Elvis Presley was married to Priscilla Beaulieu from 1967 to 1973. They had a daughter, Lisa Marie, in 1968. Elvis died in Memphis, Tennessee, due to cardiac arrest. He was only 42 years old.
4. Charlie Chaplin

Sir Charles Chaplin (also known as Charlie Chaplin) was born on April 16, 1889, and died on December 25, 1977. He was known for his comedic roles, such as 'The Tramp' in the 1921 comedy-drama "The Kid". Sir Charles either won or was nominated for numerous awards. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, erected there in 1972.

Charlie Chaplin had four wives in his lifetime. Mildred Harris from 1918 to 1920; Lita Grey from 1924 to 1927; Paulette Goddard from 1936 to 1942; and Oona O'Neill, whom he married in 1943 and remained married to until his death. Sir Charles died in Corsier-sur-Vevey, Switzerland, from a stroke at age 88.
5. Grace Kelly

Grace Kelly was born on November 12, 1929, and died on September 14, 1982. Grace won a Best Actress Oscar for her role as Georgie Elgin in the 1954 film "The Country Girl". She won many other awards in her career, which lasted until 1956 when she became Princess of Monaco.

Grace Kelly married Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, on April 19, 1956. They had three children and remained married until Grace's death. She died in a car accident in Monaco at the age of 52.
6. Laurence Olivier

Lord Laurence Olivier was born on May 22, 1907, and died on July 11, 1989. He was nominated for and won several awards throughout his career. He won a Best Actor Oscar for his role as Prince Hamlet in the 1948 film "Hamlet".

Lord Olivier's first wife was Jill Esmond, whom he married in 1930 and divorced in 1940. He married his second wife, Vivian Leigh, in 1940 and divorced in 1960. His final wife was Joan Plowright, whom he married in 1961 and stayed married to until his death. Lord Olivier died in West Sussex, England, because of kidney failure. He was age 82.
7. Fred Gwynne

Fred Gwynne was born on July 10, 1926, and died on July 2, 1993. He was very widely known for his roles as Hermann Munster in television series "The Munsters" spanning 1964-1966, and Judge Haller in "My Cousin Vinny" (1992).

Fred Gwynne married Jean Reynard in 1952 and divorced her in 1980. He married Deborah Flater in 1988 and remained married until his death. Mr Gwynne died in Taneytown, Maryland, due to pancreatic cancer.
8. Charlton Heston

Charlton Heston was born on October 4, 1923, and died on April 5, 2008. He won and was nominated for several awards. Mr Heston won, for instance, an Oscar for Best Actor for his performance as Judah Ben-Hur in the 1959 film "Ben-Hur".

Charlton Heston married Lydia Clarke in 1944 and remained married to her until his death. They had two children, including the actor Fraser Clarke Heston. Charlton Heston died in Beverly Hills, California, at 84 years old. The cause of death was listed as pneumonia.
9. Gene Wilder

Gene Wilder was born on June 11, 1933 and died on August 29, 2016. His birth name was Jerome Silberman, but his stage name was Gene Wilder. He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Leopold Bloom in "The Producers" (1967). Mr Wilder was also very famous for playing the part of Willy Wonka in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (1971).

Mr Wilder married four different woman throughout the course of his life: Mary Mercier, Mary Joan Schutz, Gilda Radner, and Karen Boyer. He died in Stamford, Connecticut, because of complications from Alzheimer's Disease, aged 83.
10. Tina Turner

Tina Turner was known widely as a singer, but she indeed was an actress as well.

Tina Turner was born on November 26, 1939, as Anna Mae Bullock. She died on May 24, 2023. For her role as Aunty Entity in "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" (1985) she was awarded the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture. Tina also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Tina Turner was married to Ike Turner from 1962 to 1978. In 2013, she married Edwin Bach, who was over sixteen years her junior. They remained married until her death. Tina died in Zurich, Switzerland, at the age of 83. She had multiple illnesses leading up to her death, including kidney failure and intestinal cancer.
