They were only married from 1955 to 1959, but together they created Carrie (born in 1956) and her brother Todd (born in 1958). Eddie famously left Debbie for Elizabeth Taylor in 1959.

Answer: Quentin Tarantino

Tarantino usually has a small part in his films. He says his parents knew he was going to be a director but he always wanted to act. As a teenager, Carol found out that her paternal grandmother was African-American, and, although her father was light-skinned, he was listed as "colored" on his birth certificate.
