My students really love photo quizzes and word scrambles, and this photo match quiz brings those two things together! Match the scrambled English words to their correct photos. (Click the images for a closer look!)

A person swings the rope over their head and under their feet while jumping to avoid getting caught. One version, in which two people swing two ropes while a third person jumps in the middle, is called Double Dutch.

A beach ball is a large, lightweight ball usually made of soft plastic and filled with air. It is often used for games at the beach, in pools, or at parks. Board games have been around for thousands of years, with the oldest known game, called senet, played in ancient Egypt around 3100 B.C.
Fascinating fact: Board games became very popular during the Great Depression, as families didn't have much money to spend, and board games gave them an inexpensive way to spend time together.

A pogo stick is a toy that lets kids bounce up and down using a spring-loaded pole with footrests and handles.
