Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

The flagship of the franchise, this version lasted from 1993-1996, and spawned the 1995 movie of the same name.

This was the first version in America, but the show reused a lot of footage from the various "Super Sentai" shows in Japan that had been on since the 1980s.

The Rangers for this series were:
Austin St. John as Jason Lee Scott, the first red Mighty Morphin Ranger.
Steve Cardenas as Rocky DeSantos, second red Mighty Morphin Ranger.
Walter Emanuel Jones, as Zach Taylor, the first black Mighty Morphin Ranger.
Johnny Yong Bosch as Adam Park, the second black Mighty Morphin Ranger.
Thuy Trang, as Trini Kwan, the first yellow Mighty Morphin Ranger.
Karan Ashley as Aisha Campbell, second yellow Mighty Morphin Ranger.
Amy Jo Johnson as Kimberly Hart, the first pink Mighty Morphin Ranger.
Catherine Sutherland as Katherine "Kat" Hillard, the second pink Mighty Morphin Ranger.
David Yost as Billy Cranston, the blue Mighty Morphin Ranger.
Jason David Frank as Tommy Oliver, the green and white Mighty Morphin Rangers.
2. Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers

A 5-episode mini-series that spanned the gap between the original series and "Power Rangers Zeo" this series saw the main protagonists reduced back to children, and a group of aliens from the planet Aquitar brought in to protect Earth while the rangers went in search of the Zeo Crystal to restore their powers.

The Rangers this season were:
David Bacon (suit) and Christopher Glenn (voice) as Aurico, the red Mighty Morphin Alien Ranger.
Alan Palmer as Corcus, the black Mighty Morphin Alien Ranger.
Karim Prince ass Cestro, the Blue Mighty Morphin Alien Ranger.
Jim Gray as Tideus, the yellow Mighty Morphin Alien Ranger.
Rajia Baroudi as Delphine, the White Mighty Morphin Alien Ranger.
3. Power Rangers Zeo

Fan favorite ranger Tommy, who had been introduced as the green ranger, then became the white ranger in the original series, transitioned to become the Red Zeo Ranger in this series, making him at that time the only ranger in the series to have been multiple colors, and giving him three different ranger forms in just the fourth season of the franchise.

The Rangers this season were:
Jason David Frank as Tommy Oliver, the Red Zeo Ranger.
Johnny Yong Bosch as Adam Park, the Green Zeo Ranger.
Steve Cardenas as Rocky DeSantos, the Blue Zeo Ranger.
Nakia Burrise as Tanya Sloan, the Yellow Zeo Ranger.
Catherine Sutherland as Katherine "Kat" Hillard, the Pink Zeo Ranger.
Brad Hawkins (voice) and Ted, Tim & Tom DiFilippo as Trey of Triforia, the First Gold Ranger.
Austin St. John as Jason Lee Scott, the second Gold Ranger.
4. Power Rangers Turbo

This season saw a major shakeup about halfway through: four of the five rangers graduated high school and left the team, so most of the team had to be replaced. This was also the season that introduced the "kid" ranger, having Justin join the team, and be the only holdover when the rest of the team changed out.

The Rangers this season were:
Jason David Frank as Tommy Oliver, the first Red Turbo Ranger.
Selwyn Ward as T.J. Johnson, the second Red Turbo Ranger.
Blake Foster as Justin Stewart, the Blue Turbo Ranger.
Johnny Yong Bosch as Adam Park, the first Green Turbo Ranger.
Roger Velasco as Carlos Vallerte, the second Green Turbo Ranger.
Nakia Burrise as Tanya Sloan, the first Yellow Turbo Ranger.
Tracy Lynn Cruz as Ashley Hammond, the second Yellow Turbo Ranger.
Catherine Sutherland as Katherine "Kat" Hillard, the first Pink Turbo Ranger.
Patricia Ja Lee as Cassie Chan, the second Pink Turbo Ranger.
5. Power Rangers in Space

When the "Turbo" rangers were forced to go into space, Justin stayed behind. Alien Andros joined the team as the new red ranger, and T.J. switched from the red Turbo to the Blue "Space" ranger. This was the last season to carry multiple rangers over as the show rebranded, they started recasting almost completely after this year.

The Rangers this season were:
Christopher Khayman Lee as Andros, the Red Space Ranger.
Selwyn Ward as T.J. Johnson, the Blue Space Ranger.
Tracy Lynn Cruz as Ashley Hammond, the Yellow Space Ranger.
Roger Velasco as Carlos Vallerte, the Black Space Ranger.
Patricia Ja Lee as Cassie Chan, the Pink Space Ranger.

This season also had a cross-over with "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation", the first live-action series for that franchise.
6. Power Rangers Lost Galaxy

This was the 7th season of the franchise, but the first set in a completely different continuity. This season the rangers drew their powers from mystical swords, and were sent through space to Terra Venture, a new colony of humans on a distant planet.

The Rangers this season were:
Danny Slavin as Leo Corbett, Galaxy Red.
Reggie Rolle as Damon Henderson, Galaxy Green.
Archie Kao as Kai Chen, Galaxy Blue.
Cerina Vincent as Maya, Galaxy Yellow.
Valerie Vernon as Kendrix Morgan, the first Galaxy Pink.
Melody Perkins as Karone, the second Galaxy Pink.
7. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue

This was the first time an American-created ranger suit was added to a show. Up to this point all of the rangers had existed somewhere in the Japanese "Super Sentai" footage that was repurposed for the show. The Titanium Ranger, who was added midseason, was completely new for the American side of things. All of the suits were the same design this season, other than the color, making adding a new Ranger relatively easy to do.

The Rangers this year were:
Sean Johnson as Carter Grayson, the Red Lightspeed Ranger.
Michael Chaturantabut as Chad Lee, the Blue Lightspeed Ranger.
Keith Robinson as Joel Rawlings, the Green Lightspeed Ranger.
Sasha Williams as Kelsey Winslow, the Yellow Lightspeed Ranger.
Alison MacInnis as Dana Mitchell, the Pink Lightspeed Ranger.
Rhett Fisher as Ryan Mitchell, the Titanium Ranger.
8. Power Rangers Time Force

This season followed the Time Force law enforcement agency, a group of future cops, as they travelled back in time from the year 3000 to 2001 to fight the evil Ransik, who was also a time traveler.

The Rangers this year were:
Jason Faunt as Wesley "Wes" Collins, the Red Time Force Ranger.
Michael Copon as Lucas Kendall, the Blue Time Force Ranger.
Kevin Kleinberg as Trip Regis, the Green Time Force Ranger.
Deborah Estelle Philips as Katie Walker, the Yellow Time Force Ranger.
Erin Cahill as Jennifer "Jen" Scotts, the Pink Time Force Ranger.
Daniel Southworth as Eric Myers, the Quantum Ranger.
9. Power Rangers Wild Force

This was the final year that series creator Haim Saban worked on his first run on the series. He had sold the franchise to Disney between seasons. He would go on to buy it back a few years later.

In this series the Zords used by the rangers are living creatures, not just machines.

The Rangers this year were:
Ricardo Medina Jr. as Cole Evans, the Red Lion Ranger.
Alyson Kiperman as Taylor Earhardt, the Yellow Eagle Ranger.
Phillip Jeanmarie as Max Cooper, the Blue Shark Ranger.
Jack Guzman as Danny Delgado, the Black Bison Ranger.
Jessica Rey as Alyssa Enrilé, the White Tiger Ranger.
Phillip Andrew as Merrick Baliton, the Lunar Wolf Ranger.
10. Power Rangers Ninja Storm

This series only had three rangers to start with, before adding three additional rangers during the season. Cam, the Samurai ranger, was not in any way related to the future season that had a samurai theme.

The Rangers this year were:
Pua Magasiva as Shane Clarke, the Red Wind Ranger.
Sally Martin as Tori Hanson, the Blue Wind Ranger.
Glenn McMillan as Waldo "Dustin" Brooks, the Yellow Wind Ranger.
Adam Tuominen as Hunter Bradley, the Crimson Thunder Ranger.
Jorgito Vargas Jr. as Blake Bradley, the Navy Thunder Ranger.
Jason Chan as Cameron "Cam" Watanabe, the Green Samurai Ranger.
