Born in Missouri in 1942, Marsha Mason made it big when she met and married playwright Neil Simon. She received 4 Academy Award nominations performing in his films, including "The Goodbye Girl". When they divorced in 1983, her career took a nosedive, and she was in only one other movie in the 80's, Clint Eastwood's "Heartbreak Ridge." She switched to stage and TV and has assembled on-going success in those venues.
2. Who is or was Rocky Marciano?

Answer: Heavyweight world champion boxer

Rocco Francis Marchegiano became World Heavyweight Champion of boxing at age 29 when he knocked out Jersey Joe Walcott in 1952. When a ring announcer couldn't pronounce his name, he changed it to Marciano. He successfully defended his title five times, the last against Archie Moore in 1955.

The following year, Marciano announced his retirement at age 32. His career record was 49 wins, zero losses. He died in a plane crash in 1969, the night before his 46th birthday.

This devastating loss happened to Marshall University, located in Huntington, West Virginia. Matthew McConaughy stars as the new coach in "We Are Marshall", the 2006 movie which tells the story of how the university put a football program back together, and how the town healed from the tragedy.

He was a contemporary of Attila the Hun, and refused to continue paying tribute to him, resulting in the Hun turning his attentions west toward Rome and points beyond. Marcian is recognized as a saint by the Eastern Orthodox Church for his role in protecting and preserving the empire from Attila the Hun.
