Genma Shiranui is from the Land of Fire, from the Hidden Leaf village.

Genma graduated from the Ninja Academy and became a Genin (Low Ninja) at age of ten. During his time as a Genin, he was in the same team with Might Guy and Ebisu. At age of thirteen, he was promoted to a Chūnin (Middle Ninja).

Later on, he was promoted to a Tokubetsu Jōnin (Special High Ninja).

Genma was also an Elite Bodyguard for the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, along with Raidō Namiashi and another unnamed Ninja.

Answer: Dosu Kinuta

The reason for his removal was his unexpected death - Dosu challenged Gaara before the exam, on the roof of the Kikyō Castle (Chinese Bellflower Castle), and got himself killed.

Dosu Kinuta was a fourteen year old Genin (Low Ninja), from the Land of Rice Fields, from the Hidden Sound village. He was in the same team along with Zaku Abumi and Kin Tsuchi, who were also fourteen year old Genins.
