When Sal saw Eddie on the beach, he tried to hit him in the face, but Eddie ducked and grabbed Sal, who was yelling "You've been dead for 20 years!" Eddie told Sal that he has to talk to him. He apologizes to Sal and tells him that he couldn't handle it. The two begin walking on the beach, and Eddie asks Sal for forgiveness, and Sal says, "Come on" and they hug.

After leaving the beach, Eddie and Sal go to the Lakehurst recording studio, where a flashback shows the jam session that became the mystery tape.

As Rock Solid is getting ready for the festival, a messenger comes in and hands Joe a telegram. Joe opens it up, and on the telegram is written "Eddie Lives/Love Sal." Eddie then shows the telegram to Hilton and Diane.

Rick meets Lew Eisen and Dave Pageant, and takes them to meet Joe.

Answer: "You what?!"

Lyndsay is telling Joe that the festival is ready to begin, as she's asking Joe what are the names of the members of the band, Joe sees Rick walking his way followed by Lew Eisen and Dave Pageant. Joe turns away from Lyndsay, saying, "I always introduce the band." Rick comes up to Joe, followed by Lew and Dave, and tells Joe that Satin Records wants to give them a record deal. Joe, with his back still facing Lew and Dave, tells Rick that they haven't heard the band play yet, and Rick tells Joe that he sent them a tape. Enraged, Joe turns around and says, "You what?!"

Lew and Dave look at each other and then say, "Eddie, we really like your music. We'll do it your way." Joe storms away, followed by Dave.

After Lew and Dave see Joe, they know that he is not just a look-alike, but is in fact the real deal. Joe storms away, with Dave following him. When they get outside, Dave says, "Eddie, we really like your music," and Joe punches him in the face and walks toward his car, followed by Diane.

Diane follows Joe to the car, where he demands the keys. Diane refuses, but when she sees Joe is becoming hostile, she gives him the keys and then quickly gets in the car. Joe demands that Diane get out, and Diane says, "Look, you've got one chance left to prove that the music is there for you, and that chance is tonight. Because by tomorrow, everyone's gonna know who Joe West really is." Joe then orders Diane out of the car, and she says "Fine, maybe we can find a bridge and do it right this time."

We then see Joe walking back into the festival. He gets the band and they go onstage and begin to play. The first song they sing is "Runnin' Thru The Fire," and when the song is finished, Joe introduces the band.

On drums..."Sexy" Charlie Temple!
Lead guitarist..."The Killer" Rick Diesel!
On Saxophone...Hilton Overstreet!
And me, I'm Eddie Wilson."

The crowd is silent, and as the news of who he is hits them, they begin to chanting "Eddie, Eddie, Eddie." Then the band plays another song, much to the delight of the audience.
