2. Hugh Jackman, as Wolverine, teams up with Anna Paquin (Rogue) in this tale of a futuristic world where mutants with special powers have become undesirable to normal people. Wolverine's mentor, Professor X, believes in a peaceful solution, putting him at odds with his old friend Magneto.

They encounter Hughie, who miraculously is the only survivor of a sinking ship. When John boards the other boat to investigate Hughie's story, he realizes, too late, that Hughie is a psychotic killer. Now Hughie has taken control of John's boat and kidnapped Rae. Against great odds, Rae must use her wits against Hughie and rescue John before the boat he is on sinks.
