Answer: Highgate, London

Due to his support of revolutionaries and socialist pamphlets, Marx had to leave Germany, Belgium and then France. He settled in London where the authorities were more tolerant. He continued to write and study in London until his death in March 1883.

The mainstream royal family never spoke to Edward again and the Queen Mother was said to have blamed Edward for the death of her husband George VI due to the stresses of kingship. They did allow him to be buried in the royal plot at Frogmore, Windsor in 1972.

Resigning in 1830 he planned to go into exile in Europe but died of TB before making the journey. What a guy!

Drake was chasing some more Spanish treasure ships when he died of dysentery at Puerto Bello, Panama, in 1596 age 56. His crew made a lead coffin and buried him at sea nearby.

Richthofen was shot while crossing enemy territory and managed a hasty landing in a field near Vaux-sur-Somme before dying in the cockpit of his plane. He was buried at nearby Bertangles but exhumed after the war and re-interred in the German Military Cemetery at Fricourt some miles away.

In 1925 his remains were moved to Berlin at his brother's expense and then again in 1975 to the family burial plot at Wiesbaden.
