The poll was conducted by "MSN HIM" magazine and Salvador Dali, the Spanish surrealist painter with the flamboyant mustache, came in first. He was influenced by the 17th century master painter Diego Velázquez, who had a very similar looking mustache. Regarding that poll, Hulk Hogan came in 2nd, Albert Einstein 3rd, Friedrich Nietzsche 4th, and Charlie Chaplin 5th. Rounding out the top 10 were Freddie Mercury, Daley Thompson, Bruce Forsyth, Jimi Hendrix, and Ian Botham.

All the answers are astronauts who have walked on the Moon. Neil Alden Armstrong (1930-2012) was the first, as part of the Apollo 11 space mission in 1969. He was a naval aviator and astronaut. Armstrong also flew in the 1966 Gemini 8 mission, which saw him complete the first successful docking of two vehicles in space, something that would be essential during Apollo 11.

His story is told in the 2012 TV movie, "Neil Armstrong: First Man on the Moon."
