There are three players on this list who made at least 10 All-Star games, but they all came with the National League; those players are Clemente and Smith with 15 selections each, and Mathews with 12.
Mickey Mantle was selected to 20 All-Star games, including a total of eight between 1959-60-61-62 when two All-Star games were played per season. Mantle played with the New York Yankees from 1951-1968.
Cal Ripken Jr. played in 19 All-Star games during his career that spanned from 1981-2001 with the Baltimore Orioles. Boston Red Sox legend Ted Williams also made 19 All-Star games during his career that lasted from 1939-1960, although he missed 1943-1945 due to serving in World War II, and then he missed most of the 1952 and 1953 seasons due to the Korean War. He also made four All-Star games between the 1959 and 1960 seasons.
Rod Carew played from 1967-1985 and made 18 All-Star games, including 12 straight with the Minnesota Twins from 1967-1978, and then six straight with the California Angels from 1979-1984. Al Kaline went to 18 from 1955 to 1974 while representing the Detroit Tigers. Brooks Robinson, who played for the Baltimore Orioles from 1955-1977 also was selected to 18 All-Star games.
Mariano Rivera, who was widely considered the greatest relief pitcher by the time he retired, played with the New York Yankees from 1995-2013, was selected to 13 All-Star games. George Brett played with the Kansas City Royals from 1973-1993, and he, too, was selected to 13 games. Harmon Killebrew was yet another who was selected to 13, but he benefitted from appearing in two games in each of the 1959 and 1961 seasons. Killebrew made two All-Star games with the Washington Senators in 1959, and then he made 11 All-Star games with the Minnesota Twins from 1961-1971.
Ichiro Suzuki, who didn't make his MLB debut until the age of 27, was able to earn 10 straight All-Star selections with the Seattle Mariners from 2001-2010. Despite his late start, Ichiro played in parts of 19 seasons, and was able to accumulate 3,089 hits throughout his career.
