Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Not only are Ryan and Damon Minor brothers, but they are twin brothers. Ryan Minor, on September 20, 1998, replaced Cal Ripken Jr. at third base, ending Ripken's consecutive games streak at 2,632 games. Most Orioles fans expected Ryan to be a standout player for many years to come, but that was not to be. On December 22, 2000, he was traded away from the Orioles to a National League team. Do you remember which team he was traded to?

Answer: Montreal Expos

Ryan was traded to the Expos for pitcher Jorge Julio in a rather quiet transaction. If it hadn't been for the fact that Ryan was heralded as being the heir apparent to Ripken, the story would never have made it past the news wire. Damon Minor managed to work his way to the San Francisco Giants and appeared in 112 games over three years, from 2000 to 2002.
2. There were many three-brother sets to have played Major League baseball. Which were the first brother trio to bat consecutively in one game?
