Answer: Reese faked his report cards

The episode starts with Hal reviewing Reese's report cards. He tells Lois that it is "much better than last time", though he explains that the improvements include using the same brand of pen that the teacher uses and that he gave himself a C instead of an A+ in Math to make it more believable. Hal suggests grounding Reese for two months, but Lois increases the punishment to three months, as well as having Reese scrub toilets.

Answer: Vacuuming

The three Wilkerson brothers are watching TV with their feet up on the table. Meanwhile, Lois is vacuuming the floor and when she needs to clean the area where the boys are, she doesn't hesitate and walks by them. She forces them to lift up their feet, and Dewey complains that he dropped his sandwich and now it's gone into the vacuum.

Then, Hal interrupts to inform the family that there is a van next door, which means they have new neighbors.

Answer: Espresso maker

The whole Wilkerson family immediately goes to the windows to take a first look at their new neighbors. Hal exclaims that he sees an espresso maker and a leather couch, which makes him think that this family is "upscale professional". Lois quickly counters by saying that if they were moving into this neighborhood, it means that they weren't very good at managing their money.

Malcolm figures that the reason people keep moving out of that house is that it's haunted, though we see that the real reason might just be the Wilkerson family's behavior.

Answer: He was a convicted felon

The oldest of the Wilkerson brothers, Francis, is at the Marlin Academy military school in Alabama. We first see him and the other cadets cleaning every single corner of the school. Commandant Spangler explains that the reason he has had them working day and night is that Marlin Academy is about to host a distinguished guest: Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, who has two purple hearts and hosts a radio show. Finley asks whether North was a convicted felon, but Spangler quickly responds that the conviction was overturned.

Answer: Malcolm spit on his burger

Though the new neighbors seemed nice at first, the Wilkersons soon find out that they are not as pleasant as they seem. Tina asks Lois if there are any doctors who could prescribe her medicine even if she isn't actually sick. Josh, who appeared to be friendly at first, scares Dewey into thinking the garden gnome will harm him.

Then, he asks for another burger claiming that Malcolm spit on his, when that did not happen.

Answer: Bite Reese

Uncharacteristically, Reese is trying to be nice for once. He asks Emily why she is staring at him, but she doesn't respond. Kindly, Reese offers her one of his chips. To his surprise, Emily grabs his arm and bites it! Reese makes a fist and is about to punch her since that's how he would usually react, but he controls himself before it's too late. Emily then starts biting Reese's leg as he twists and turns in agony. Realizing what is happening, Lois intervenes by blocking Emily's nose so she is forced to open her mouth.

This sets off a staring match between the two families.

Answer: Indian Reservation

Hal is in awe of all the cool things Mike has in his garage. There are guitars, drum sets, a television, and a collection of vinyl records. Mike then shows Hal his Shirendorff 1290 turntable record player, which is shaped like a die. Hal appears to be the only member of the Wilkerson family having a good time, since his wife and children are outside fighting with the new neighbors. Hal and Mike can be heard singing a part of "Indian Reservation" by Paul Revere & the Raiders, unaware of what is happening outside.

Answer: Grab a bat

The problems between the two families just keep getting worse. Though Hal and Mike seem to be getting along, every other family member is having issues with the new neighbors. Josh keeps making up lies about Malcolm; Tina and Lois spar over Tina's treatment of her landscaper; Reese keeps getting bit by Emily; and Dewey is fighting a losing battle against the garden gnome.

While Reese is trying to sleep, he keeps hearing Emily's giggles and gets increasingly nervous about her being around. He grabs a metallic baseball bat to defend himself but accidentally ends up hitting himself in the face.

Answer: The Candy Man

Commandant Spangler wanted to impress Lieutenant Colonel North however he could, so he put together a musical number with his cadets. The cadets performed a captivating version of "The Candy Man", which originally appeared in the 1971 film "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" and was further popularized by Sammy Davis Jr. Spangler acts as the choir director and even sings the line "you can even eat the dishes!"

Answer: Dakota Fanning

Dakota Fanning, born in 1994, appeared in multiple films and TV shows from a very early age. Fanning's career began with a series of TV appearances in shows like "ER", "Ally McBeal", and "The Practice". Though she worked in a few other shows in later years, like "Friends", her career was mainly focused on the film world. She is especially known for her performances in "I Am Sam", "Charlotte's Web", and "The Secret Life of Bees".
