Sam and Josh were in a room discussing the day's events and that was when Sam informed him of how the Family Values Leadership Council had an ad which would appear in twenty two newspapers the next day. Sam described the ad as congratulating many prominent people for denouncing a film called "Prince of New York." Josh wanted to know what the problem was and Sam stated that President Bartlet was one of the people they congratulated.

Sam went to his office since he had a phone call and it was Charlie who was on the other end. Sam asked Charlie if he spoke with a movie producer named Morgan Ross. Charlie said he spoke with her a week ago and Sam wanted to know what he discussed with the movie producer.

Josh was in his office and he spoke with C.J. there and then asked her if she knew Surgeon General Griffith would criticize the administration's stance on drugs. C.J. informed Josh that she did not agree with his characterization of Griffith's comment. Josh asked C.J. if President Bartlet agreed with her view to legalize marijuana so C.J. said he disagreed.

C.J. finished a press conference and then spoke with Sam once she exited the press room. They discussed the film "Prince of New York" and Sam mentioned how some religious groups were boycotting the movie due to some religious imagery in it. Sam then mentioned someone else deemed President Bartlet a "coward" for going on someone's show to support denouncement of the film and therefore indicating he supported some form of censorship.
