Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In "Demon's Souls", the player can earn an addition achievement from defeating Dragon God if they land the finishing blow using a particular fist weapon. What weapon?

Answer: Hands of God

The player can either loot this weapon from Tunnel City, or kill Blacksmith Boldwin or Ed to receive it from them.

Because the Dragon God will die in one hit after being struck with ballistae, the player does not even need to have the stats to make killing it with the Hands of God fairly easy. Unless you've made a Strength/Faith build, this thing's 19 in Strength and 16 in Faith prerequisites will make it difficult to get the stats for.
2. Most boss soul weapons of "Demon's Souls" require a non-boss soul weapon be ascended to take the form of a boss soul weapon. Uniquely, the Claws can be ascended to take the form of a greatsword of all things. What boss soul weapon can the Claws be ascended into?

Answer: Large Sword of Searching

The player will need to defeat Old Hero, get the Claws to +10, then visit Blacksmith Ed with the Old Hero's soul and these Claws.

The Large Sword of Searching has decent base power and the unique effect of increasing the drop rate of items off slain enemies. This makes it very useful if the player needs to "farm" enemies for a certain item drop.
3. The Dark Hand of "Dark Souls 1" can only be obtained if the player joins the Darkwraith covenant. Access to this covenant can be permanently lost before it has ever been gained if the player isn't careful. What boss must be slain before the Lordvessel is put into place?

Answer: Four Kings

If the player acquires and then puts the Lordvessel into place without first killing the Four Kings, the Darkwraith covenant will become impossible to even locate, much less join.

When the Four Kings are defeated, if the Lordvessel has not been put into place, Darkstalker Kaathe will appear in their boss room. Speaking to him will allow the player to join the Darkwraith covenant. Kaathe will simply not appear if the player puts the Lordvessel down using Kingseeker Frampt to get into position first, as Kaathe and Frampt are diametrically opposed to one another.
4. The Dragon Bone Fist of "Dark Souls 1" has stellar S scaling in Strength. It can be forged from a boss soul- whose?

Answer: Iron Golem

This is one of a select few boss souls which can be turned into multiple alternative rewards, as the player could also decide to turn the Core of an Iron Golem into the Golem Axe. Both weapons are excellent choices, and the Dragon Bone Fist's low requirement of 20 Strength is fairly accessible to just about any build out there as well.
5. When being summoned into another player's world, the cooperator is typically only able to pick up dropped Life Gems off slain enemies; nothing else typically shows up. The exception to this is the daunting, heavily maligned Frigid Outskirts. Here, cooperators can loot a particular fist weapon off of the Frozen Reindeer here. What fist weapon?

Answer: Bone Fist

The Bone Fist has strangely high requirements, demanding 15 Strength and 30 Dexterity to wield. However, the return on such an investment is massive in a few different ways. For one, at +5, this weapon gets excellent A scaling in Dexterity and even better S scaling in Strength. If the player wants to go the extra mile and attain the 23 Strength, 45 Dexterity needed to powerstance, they get one of the coolest movesets in the entire game; the powerstanced left-handed charge attack mimics a Hadouken from the "Street Fighter" series almost perfectly, the running left-handed light attack becomes a ridiculously cool dropkick maneuver, and it complements the right-handed charge attack of performing a sweeping trip maneuver with the character's leg perfectly.

It is quite the undertaking, and Frigid Outskirts is simply a horrible area absolutely nobody enjoys. But it is all worth it in the end if you value novelty.
6. If you make a character on the chubbier side, equip very particular armor and this fist weapon, you can potentially make your character in "Dark Souls 2" look almost exactly like Mr Krabs from "SpongeBob Squarepants"! What fist weapon, found only on New Game+ at No Man's Wharf, distinctly resembles a crab claw?

Answer: Malformed Claws

The Malformed Claws are a very rare drop off of Suspicious Shadow enemies which attack the player just before reaching the pirate ship towards the end of the area. It is worth noting that Suspicious Shadows will appear during the Flexile Sentry boss fight here, but they unfortunately cannot drop Malformed Claws here. Only the two which appear just in front of the ship can drop this fist weapon.
7. The Demon's Fist in "Dark Souls 3" can be acquired by trading the Soul of a Demon to Ludleth of Courland for it. Where is the demon tied to this soul fought?

Answer: Catacombs of Carthus

Here, a demon bearing a striking resemblance to the Asylum Demon family of "Dark Souls 1" is fought. It's a very similar moveset, only adding a maneuver emulating the Chaos Bed Vestiges spell and a grab attack to the demon's moveset.
8. Funny enough, the humble Manikin Claws of "Dark Souls 3" become impossible to acquire by one's self if they are trying to do one character's questline. What questline makes it impossible to collect this item?

Answer: Yuria of Londor

This item is dropped off of a Londor Pale Shade who will invade the player in Irithyl of the Boreal Valley. This NPC will not even appear unless the player has ignored or failed Yuria's questline up to this point, making the Manikin Claws impossible to acquire without being gifted by a friend.
9. In "Elden Ring", the Grafted Dragon is the only fist weapon which cannot be two-handed. Can the player powerstance one Grafted Dragon with another Grafted Dragon, or a different fist weapon?

Answer: Yes

Like any weapon, the Grafted Dragon can be powerstanced alongside any other fist weapon, including another Grafted Dragon.

Given the visual absurdity of suddenly spawning a second dragon head out of thin air for the player to two-hand, it was almost definitely a decision made with respect to practical logic rather than the notion that it would be "OP." This is why the Grafted Dragon can be simply powerstanced with a different fist weapon.
10. There is one Ash of War in all of "Elden Ring" that is a grab attack the player can use. It belongs to the Fist weapon family. What Ash of War of the following is a grab attack?

Answer: Lifesteal Fist

Lifesteal Fist is an almost perfect copy/paste of the Dark Hand from the "Dark Souls" series, and functions identically.

As the name suggests, Unblockable Blade cannot be blocked by a shield or parried, which allows it to deal with greatshield users similarly to how Lifesteal Fist can get by them. However, it is not a grab attack; just an attack with anti-block properties.
