Question 5 of 15
5. The first contradictory statement in "The Lost Turnabout" is easy to see. The defendant's name was written in the sand by the victim with his finger, presumably as a way of linking her to the murder. However, there is one crucial problem- the defendant's name is not spelled "Maggie" like it is in the crime scene photo. How do you correctly spell the defendant's first name here?

Answer: ('Y' would someone make this silly mistake?)
Question 6 of 15
6. During "Reunion and Turnabout", the player is able to successfully prove that Ini Miney, who took the stand, is actually someone else who disguised herself using plastic surgery. Whose profile must the player present, suggesting that Ini Miney is disguising herself as this person? Hint

Question 7 of 15
7. In "Turnabout Big Top", Moe makes a claim involving a crucial piece of evidence that is just flat out wrong. What statement must the player object to? Hint

Question 8 of 15
8. In "Farewell, my Turnabout", the player uniquely can receive one of two different endings. The ending they receive depends on what piece of evidence they present, along with who they want to accuse of performing the killing. The killer is the appropriately named Shelly de Killer- what piece of evidence must the player also present to receive the "Good Ending"? Hint

Question 9 of 15
9. Phoenix Wright himself testifies in "Turnabout Memories". Here, he has been accused of murder and is explaining what happened when he found the body. In order to help Phoenix prove his own innocence, one of his statements must be proven to be a contradiction. Which of the following must the player object to? Hint

Question 10 of 15
10. During the very last testimony of "Stolen Turnabout", we learn that Luke Atmey had more than just grand larceny in mind. However, this is a figurative "trial by fire" as the player is given eleven statements from Atmey, and if they press on the wrong one, it's an instant game over. Which of Atmey's statements must the player press on to progress the game? Hint

Question 11 of 15
11. Detective Gumshoe takes the stand in "Recipe for a Turnabout" and he has begrudgingly agreed to testify against his love interest, Maggey Byrde. He begs Phoenix to find some contradiction in his testimony that will cast doubt as to Byrde's guilt here. It takes awhile, but during Gumshoe's testimony, Phoenix is able to deliver. What must the player object to that Gumshoe says? Hint

Question 12 of 15
12. In "Turnabout Memories", the player cross examines Melissa Foster, otherwise known as Dahlia Hawthorne. Hawthorne clarifies why she lied about her identity, but she isn't truthful here either. What statement of hers must the player object on? Hint

Question 13 of 15
13. In the wild, chaotic "Bridge to the Turnabout", we see a whopping three trials take place in one day, unprecedented for the trilogy. The prosecution's first witness, Iris Hawthorne, the twin sister of Dahlia, had enough time to 'switch places' with her twin, and it's actually the latter who is testifying, not the former. After duping everyone for a second time, whose profile must the player present is the person who was watching over her just before the exchange happened. Essentially, who must the player blame for taking their eyes off of Iris? Hint

Question 14 of 15
14. In "Bridge to the Turnabout", Dahlia tells the court that she wanted to kill Maya Fey to exact her revenge on somebody else. To figure out who, the player must present someone's profile. Who was Dahlia trying to get her revenge on? Hint

Question 15 of 15
15. In the end of the entire trilogy, the very last character the player cross examines in "Bridge to the Turnabout" is none other than longtime partner Maya Fey. Maya testifies as to the identity of the killer. She makes one incorrect assumption the player must object to. Which statement of Maya's is worthy of an objection? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. During the classic "First Turnabout", Mr Sahwit takes the stand. In his first tesimony, he makes a total of ten different statements. Which of the following is a contradictory statement?

Answer: "I remember the time exactly: It was 1:00 PM."

The Autopsy Report on the victim indicates she was killed between 4 and 5 PM. Of course, this makes Mr Sahwit's claim to be clearly impossible.
2. During the decisive "The Two Accounts" testimony in "Turnabout Sisters", the player must press on one of Redd White's statements in order to get him to say something contradictory. What must they press on?

Answer: "I looked at the other window when I heard that thing fall."

Pressing this statement will eventually force Redd White to alter his testimony. The statement being pressed will turn into "A light stand was lying on the floor when I looked." The player will then need to present the Glass Shards evidence on this new statement.

This evidence calls into question how Redd White even knew there was a light stand at all, considering it was broken at the time of the murder.
3. In "Turnabout Samurai", Wendy Oldbag will testify as to how she knew Will Powers was in his costume and committed a murder in it. During the "The Man in the Photo" testimony, the player will be unable to use evidence and must press on one of her statements to progress. What statement must they press on?

Answer: "He broke one of the props, it was a big mess."

When pressing this statement, Oldbag will reveal that the Samurai Spear was broken the morning of the crime. This is important, as the Samurai Spear has been considered the murder weapon up to this point, casting that much into doubt as well.
4. In "Turnabout Goodbyes", Lotta Hart lies a lot during her testimonies. She lies hardest about her reason for being at the lake. She was there to spot sea monster of legend, Gourdy. The player can point this out to dispute which statement she makes?

Answer: "There wasn't much else to look at, so I just watched that boat the whole time."

Phoenix Wright points out that if Lotta heard a loud noise and she truly was there to get a picture of Gourdy, that she would definitely not be staring at a boat. She would, if she was telling the truth, almost certainly be watching the waters for a glimpse of Gourdy and would not have seen the murder take place on a boat.

Answer: Maggey

Of course, since Maggey Byrde's name was spelled incorrectly, and the victim was her former lover, this is a pretty glaring contradiction. If they were lovers, it stands to reason he would be able to spell her name correctly at the very least. This red flag is the catalyst to opening up the rest of the trial and properly casting doubt on Maggey's guilt.
6. During "Reunion and Turnabout", the player is able to successfully prove that Ini Miney, who took the stand, is actually someone else who disguised herself using plastic surgery. Whose profile must the player present, suggesting that Ini Miney is disguising herself as this person?

Answer: Mimi Miney

During a car accident a year prior, Ini Miney and her sister Mimi Miney got in a terrible car accident. What is believed to have happened is that Mimi Miney was killed and Ini Miney suffered damages so bad that they required plastic surgery for her to have a proper and normal face again. What actually happened is that Ini Miney is the one who died, and Mimi Miney used this plastic surgery to make herself look like her twin sister, Ini Miney.

Because it is Mimi Miney whose malpractice had gotten fourteen people killed just before this accident, this is extremely important. It turns out it is Mimi, and not Ini, who has been testifying this entire time.
7. In "Turnabout Big Top", Moe makes a claim involving a crucial piece of evidence that is just flat out wrong. What statement must the player object to?

Answer: "He was wearing it the entire time that he was on the scene!"

Attempting to press on any of these statements, or objecting to the other three, will result in an instant Game Over and a Guilty verdict for the player and their client. Presenting the Silk Hat on the correct statement will point out that Moe's claim is impossible.

The logic being, how could he have seen the hat on the defendant the entire time, if it was later found on the ground at the scene of the crime? For that to be possible, the hat must have fallen off or been removed before the criminal left the crime scene, which not only makes no sense but is also contradictive to Moe's claim.

Answer: Video Tape

Presenting anyone other than Shelly de Killer, and anything other than the Video Tape will result in the "Bad Ending." In this ending, Matt Engarde receives a Not Guilty verdict, Maya Fey is never found and Adrian Andrews would wrongfully be convicted of murder.

If the correct combination is presented, Matt Engarde is eventually found Guilty, Adrian Andrews never stands trial for a murder she never committed and Maya Fey is released back to Phoenix. This is the "Good Ending."
9. Phoenix Wright himself testifies in "Turnabout Memories". Here, he has been accused of murder and is explaining what happened when he found the body. In order to help Phoenix prove his own innocence, one of his statements must be proven to be a contradiction. Which of the following must the player object to?

Answer: "He was always walking around with a huge Union Jack on the back of his shirt."

The logic which disproves this statement can be found by presenting Crime Photo 1. Here, the victim Doug Swallow is seen clearly wearing a leather jacket. As such, there is simply no way Phoenix could have seen what was on the back of his shirt.

Answer: "Mr. DeLite was wearing his Mask DeMasque outfit, which is why he left no prints."

It is simply impossible for Luke Atmey to have known Ron DeLite was in the Mask DeMasque costume. Ron did indeed confess to wearing this costume, but this confession came when Atmey was in another courtroom and couldn't hear it. Ron DeLite was provably rendered unconscious while he was in this costume, and it was then where the murder took place.

The only person who could have known Ron DeLite was in costume, without having heard him confess to doing so, is the murderer since the murderer made contact with DeLite. Of course, this is what tips the scales towards getting a Guilty verdict for Luke Atmey.

Answer: "And that was it. There was nothing else missing from the crime scene."

To get this far, the player must press on each of Gumshoe's first four statements. This will add the Prescription Bag to the player's inventory. This piece of evidence must be presented against the correct answer for this question- the Prescription Bag is empty, meaning that something actually was missing from the crime scene.
12. In "Turnabout Memories", the player cross examines Melissa Foster, otherwise known as Dahlia Hawthorne. Hawthorne clarifies why she lied about her identity, but she isn't truthful here either. What statement of hers must the player object on?

Answer: "That's when Mr. Fawles tried to kill me by shoving me off the bridge from behind!"

If Hawthorne was telling the truth, she would have fallen atop a large pile of bedrock and would have been killed instantly. This can be proven by simply examining where she would have fallen had Fawles pushed her. As well, her own testimony defeats this statement: if her sister Valerie did shoot Fawles in the arm, how did he have the strength and wherewithal to push Dahlia? This is called further into question when considering she was standing at his right side, the side on which his arm was shot.

Answer: Miles Edgeworth

Edgeworth was alone with Iris as they were at the Training Hall. Edgeworth has cripplingly bad seismophobia (fear of earthquakes), and an earthquake began to happen while he was with Iris. He fell unconscious, and this allowed Iris to get away. Of course, this isn't really Edgeworth's "fault" per se, but it is necessary to point out that Iris did get away from him somehow to switch places with Dahlia.
14. In "Bridge to the Turnabout", Dahlia tells the court that she wanted to kill Maya Fey to exact her revenge on somebody else. To figure out who, the player must present someone's profile. Who was Dahlia trying to get her revenge on?

Answer: Mia Fey

Mia Fey is the attorney who initially landed a Guilty verdict against Dahlia Hawthorne, resulting in her subsequent death penalty. This is a fairly straightforward motive for Dahlia to want 'revenge.'

Answer: "I think it was for my sake that the killer cleaned up the evidence of what had happened."

While Maya believes the killer was acting on her behalf, the truth actually is that the killer couldn't see what he was cleaning up- he was color blind and could not spot red blood trickles on the statue. To be safe, he went above and beyond and cleaned everything, compensating for his color blindness by being certain he cleaned everything of any blood. This is the mistake Maya makes.
