Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How old is Mia Fey?

Answer: 27

Mia is 27 years old, just a little bit older than Phoenix. We know this because the age difference between Mia and her younger sister, Maya, is mentioned, and if you add the age difference to Maya's age you get Mia's age.
2. Mia was one of the characters' mentors. Who was that person?

Answer: Phoenix Wright

Phoenix joined her law firm when he was 24, and he considered her his mentor. She taught him basically everything he knows about being a defense attorney. Miles Edgeworth isn't even a defense attorney, Winston Payne is too old to have Mia as a mentor, and Franziska wasn't even in the series until after Mia was killed.
3. Now you may not believe this, but Mia has a hard time with names. Whose names did she almost always mess up?

Answer: Phoenix and Larry

In the Japanese version of "Phoenix Wright", Mia sometimes called Naruhodou "Naruhodo". Naruhodou is Phoenix's Japanese counterpart. She also calls Larry "Harry". Yahari is Larry's Japanese counterpart, and Yahari becomes "Yappari."
4. Mia has a sister, aunt, and cousin who show up through out the series. What are their names?

Answer: Maya, Morgan, Pearl

Maya is her sister, who she is very close to even though they have a very big age difference. Morgan is her aunt, and Pearl is her cousin. Misty is her mom, who disappeared from the village about fifteen years ago, in the video game's time. Lotta Hart is a photographer, and Franziska is a prosecutor who, again, didn't show up until after Mia was killed. Dee is a witness in one of the cases, and Ayame is a girl who shows up later in the first game.
5. What is supposedly one of the reasons the creators chose Fey as the last name in the English version?

Answer: It has connections to spiritualism and magic

It's connection to spiritualism is what made them choose the last name Fey, as in "Morgan le Fey". Even though Mia did in fact become a defense attorney, she is still a Fey, and the Feys are known for the strong spiritual connection they have, and for their amazing ability to channel spirits.
6. What is one of the reasons that Mia left her village, Kurain, to become a defense attorney?

Answer: To find the truth behind DL-6

Mia left a few years after her mom disappeared to find out the truth behind case DL-6, the infamous case that involved Miles Edgeworth, her mother, and Manfred von Karma. Her mother was called into court to channel Gregory Edgeworth's spirit to find out who killed him, since he was the victim.

The guilty party was Manfred von Karma, but Yanni Yogi, who was the defendant, pleaded temporary insanity and got off with the case. The other reason was because she didn't want to fight with Maya over who would control their clan, since family fighting has shown up in the family records over the past few decades.
7. When Mia was murdered, what was the cause of death?

Answer: blunt object to the back of the head

Mia was hit in the back of the head with a heavy object and died because of it. Maya, her sister, was set up and Phoenix defended her. Redd White was eventually found guilty of killing her, and April May was considered an accomplice. His motive was that Mia was trying to reveal how his business worked, which was by blackmailing powerful leaders.

After that, Phoenix took over and renamed the law firm "Wright and Co.".
8. During the case of GS3 case 1, Mia started seeing someone. Who was that someone?

Answer: Kaminogi

During this case, Kaminogi was poisoned by Chinami while he was questioning her. Mia, who was determined to put Cinami behind bars after doing this, furthered her studies in law and eventually Chinami was convicted during the case of State vs. Wright. Von Karma is way to old for her, Edgeworth is one of her rivals, and Phoenix was seeing someone else at the time.
9. During her first case, something prevented Mia from continuing the case. Her client was murdered! How was she murdered?

Answer: poison

Her client, Onamida, was poisoned. The lady who did it escaped being convicted because they didn't have enough evidence. That woman was Chinami.
10. Was Mia ever "involved" with Phoenix?

Answer: No

There is no evidence in any of the games that would make anyone think they were dating, or doing anything romantically. They were just business partners and pretty good friends.
