Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. When the player first arrives in Iwatodai, they'll notice a bunch of coffins in seemingly random places. They'll later be informed what's inside these coffins. What is inside the coffins?

Answer: People who are not Persona users

During the Dark Hour, non-Persona users are essentially sealed inside of coffins. Persona users are not, and are thus able to fight the Shadows.
2. Tartarus is a structure which only forms during the Dark Hour. Where does Tartarus form?

Answer: Gekoukkan High School

The very building itself is host to Tartarus during the Dark Hour. It essentially transforms from a regular school building into a giant cognitive tower.
3. When the player first reaches the Iwatodai dorm, who is the first character to greet them?

Answer: None of these

Pharos, the "Mysterious Boy" is the first person to greet the player. None of the others can actually see him, though, and will have no clue what the player is talking about if they try to ask about him.
4. The player is soon introduced to the iconic Igor and the Velvet Room. As per usual, Igor requires the player to sign a contract to gain entry into the Velvet Room. This contract has only one condition- what is it?

Answer: The player is responsible for their own actions

This was meant to be a subtle hint of sorts that the player's decision making will become a factor at various points of the game, both in combat and narratively. Igor clarifies that he has no specific demands for any decisions the player makes, and will respect them regardless of whether or not he agrees with taking them- only that the player alone bears the consequences for what they decide to do.
5. The sight of friendly teammates such as Yukari Takeba and Junpei Iori shooting themselves in the head with a handgun seems frightening, but the player will have to get used to it- Persona users will be doing this a lot. What does using the Evoker gun for this function achieve?

Answer: Summoning a Persona

If any character in this entire game wants to use a Persona, they'll have to use an Evoker, a catalyst taking on the distinct appearance of a handgun, and 'shoot' themselves in the head with it. This activates their Persona and allows them to do what they were going to do with it.
6. The last character to join SEES, Shinjiro Aragaki, has his stay with the team be short lived. In early November, he will be shot and seemingly killed by Takeya. However, he can survive this interaction- the player must accomplish something specific to save Shinjiro. What must be achieved?

Answer: His social link must be maxed

If Shinjiro's social is maxed prior to this interaction, it will involve the player locating and returning a pocket watch that Shinjiro lost. It is this watch which takes a second bullet aimed at Shinjiro, preventing his body from taking a bullet wound and allowing him to survive.

Shinjiro's social can only be accessed if the player chooses the female protagonist, as his social is simply unavailable to the male character. Either way, Shinjiro will permanently leave the team once this event takes place.
7. On the same night Shinjiro is shot, Ken Amada discovers the identity of his mother's killer. He will go and confront this man- who is it?

Answer: Shinjiro Aragaki

Ken and Shinjiro meet at the Tatsumi Port Island back alley. Here, Ken tells Shinjiro he's figured out that the latter killed his mother. Ken will tell Shinjiro he wants to exact revenge on her behalf by killing him. Shinjiro seems to willingly allow Ken to do this, putting up no resistance, but warning Ken that he will regret it emotionally if he goes through with it, just as Shinjiro himself did.

The meeting is interrupted by Takeya, who ultimately ends up shooting Shinjiro and being chased off by SEES before he could do the same to Ken.
8. The team thinks they've finally ended the Dark Hour, only to discover they were led astray and betrayed by a very powerful man who took advantage of them. Who betrayed SEES?

Answer: Shuji Ikutski

The recognized Chairman of SEES ultimately lied to the team. It turns out, instead of working to eliminate the Dark Hour, defeating Arcana Shadows only helped to strengthen it and welcome the ominous Nyx into the real world to bring about "The Fall."
9. During the final battle with Nyx, the protagonist is the only one of the entire team able to stand up to her at her peak performance. They will enter a brief one-on-one with Nyx at quite the setting. Where does this brief encounter take place?

Answer: Outer space

The player essentially, for lack of a more graceful way of putting it, simply walks up a huge pillar of light leading towards Nyx's ultimate form in outer space. The two will trade scripted blows briefly before the player has the chance to finish Nyx off for good.
10. Ultimately, should the player achieve the 'Good' ending, it will always end on a somber, emotional note. What always happens?

Answer: The protagonist dies

In sealing Nyx's power away, the protagonist was essentially forced to sacrifice their soul to form "The Great Seal." Afterward, corny as it is, their willpower in meting out a promise to gather with the rest of SEES one last time on graduation day was the only thing keeping them alive. Once this promise is fulfilled, the protagonist passes away in Aigis' arms, the game fades to white and credits roll.
