"Persona 3" - Aigis Trivia Quiz

The reason for this ends up being extremely convoluted. The gist of it is that the protagonist literally harbors Death inside of them, and Aigis was essentially built to put this threat down.

The player can choose to tell her that school is entertaining, boring, or simply nothing. Aigis will reject the player's opinion if they say boring or nothing.

Answer: Electric

With Akihiko being resistant or immune to Electric and Yukari being weak to it, the player will want to juggle these synergies if they want to use Aigis in combat.

Answer: Hand Cannon

Along with Yukari, Aigis can't ever stumble because her basic attack is a projectile. Like Yukari, Aigis' accuracy is sub par, though Aigis trades an above crit rate away that Yukari gets in return for doing more damage on average. Finally, just like Yukari and Ken, Aigis' basic attacks deal Pierce damage.

Aigis is quite literally a 'buff bot', not just in the sense of being a literal robot, but also in that she is the only character other than Makoto/Kotone to have access to all of Matarukaja, Masukukaja and Marakukaja. On the side, she can do a mediocre job generating her own offenses with Physical skills, though her offensive potential elevates considerably once she learns her later leveled attacks.

Answer: Chairman Ikutski

It is here where Ikutski reveals his traitorous intent, captures the team as a whole, and is almost successful in ordering Aigis to kill them all once he changes her programming to put her under his control.

Answer: Avoid fighting Nyx

Aigis was designed to fight shadows. As it would seem, Nyx is portrayed as an unwinnable fight, where failing to defeat her would result in an agonizing, slow end rather than a quick, peaceful one if they don't bother trying. Recognizing this, Aigis feels it is wrong for the team to suffer her own supposed shortcomings any longer, and wants the player to take the easy way out.

Answer: Max

With this prerequisite met, Aigis' social link can begin on the last playable month of the game. She is available five days out of the week, making her social very easy to finish if the player prioritizes it.

Answer: Find a stray cat

They end up 'kind of' doing this twice. The first is them simply looking for and eventually locating a cat named Mewlie. The second time Mewlie goes missing, however, her owner will tell the player and Aigis to simply let Mewlie go, believing Mewlie has 'gone off to die.'

This sequence causes Aigis and, more than likely the actual player themselves, to really ponder over how humans perceive and react to their own mortality. Aigis wonders out loud why Mewlie's owner handled this usually tragic news so casually. The player can tell help Aigis learn that life is ultimately what you make of it, and that Mewlie's owner was content with her dying at an advanced age, after she 'had her fill in life.'

Answer: Aigis is nearly destroyed

By the time S.E.E.S arrives, most of Aigis' robotic body has been essentially obliterated and strewn apart the bridge. Only her upper half and parts of her lower half remain intact, and she is barely able to speak. Ryoji, on the other hand, is more or less completely fine. Aigis was unfortunately no match at all for him.

Given that Aigis has more of a 'database' than an organic memory, she doesn't follow the same rules as the humans of the game do, and her memory is completely unaffected when Nyx is slain. This allows her to recall the events of The Fall long before her teammates do. Sadly, this ends up with Aigis realizing that her teammates mostly don't even remember who each other are, including herself.

It's to the point where Junpei even believes Aigis may be romantically interested in him or Makoto (if applicable) due to how curiously she observes them and their memories.

Answer: Love

Aigis will ultimately tell Makoto or Kotone that she has developed what she believes to be romantic feelings for them. She will then lament that she herself can never be truly loved due to her having the 'heart of a human' but the body of an android.

Answer: Neck

In the back of Aigis' neck is her core. It is apparently extremely fragile, as Aigis will tell the player she is cutting off access to her motor functions, so she doesn't accidentally attack them while they're touching her core.

Answer: Aigis obtains the Wild Card

Aigis basically gets the same exact power Makoto/Kotone have, minus the ability to access the Persona Compendium for some reason.

Answer: Metatron

Metatron is an extremely important, incredibly effective Persona. His presence in the player's stock is needed in order to cast Last Judge, an extremely powerful fusion spell whose power eclipses even that of Morning Star.

Metatron comes loaded with useful skills, both to use for himself or to pass on to other Personas. He can learn Repels against Fire, Ice and Electric via level up. He can also get God's Hand, Megidolaon and, of course, his almost signature skill Mahamaon. Finally, he can learn Auto-Mataru, an extremely useful passive. He Repels Light, resists Strike, and carries a nasty weakness to Dark. Fortunately, he can be easily given Repel Dark via passing it forward to him from Gabriel, so this is a relatively easy, albeit important, issue to work out.

Metatron is used throughout many, many notable or iconic moments in Atlus' history as a development studio. In this game, he is wielded by Elizabeth in her boss battle (FES or Portable versions only, not the original) to cast Mahamaon. In "Persona 4" he is wielded by Margaret during her boss battle, while he appears as his own entity in "Persona 5," "Persona 5 Royal" and "Persona 5 Strikers" as a boss fight at various points of those three games.

In this game, Metatron is needed in order to fuse Lucifer, who is arguably the best Persona in the game. Lucifer's Ice weakness getting patched up by passing forth Repel Ice from Metatron is certainly useful, as Lucifer otherwise would require a skill card for this.

In "Persona 4" and "Persona 5", Metatron is needed as a piece to craft the protagonists' ultimate Persona in those two games.

Needless to say, he's a pretty recognizable figure.
