Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. One of the most memorable parts about Rise comes entirely behind the scenes, as she was voiced by a very big name. Who was the English voice actor for Rise?

Answer: Laura Bailey

Laura Bailey got involved with voice acting early in 2001, and her career took off from there. Since then, she has played a few different prominent roles. Funny enough, Rise isn't her only taste of Persona voice acting, as she was the voice of "Persona 3's" Kotone Shiome. Additionally, outside of Persona, she has been the memorable emulation of Serah Farron of "Final Fantasy XIII", she was the voice of Catherine of a video game of the same name also made by Altus, she was the iconic voice of Abby Anderson in "Last of Us Part II" and her arguably most iconic role has come as the voice of "Street Fighter's" Chun-Li.

It is not a stretch to say that Laura Bailey is one of the greatest female voice actors, or just voice actors in general, of all time, and her excellent work extended towards Rise in this game.
2. Rise is unique among the team. Specifically, Shadow Rise is the only "dungeon boss" in the entire game to have never had what happen?

Answer: Been slain by the team

Shadow Rise is fought until the player gets her to about a third of her health left. After that happens, she will 'analyze all of their moves' and every attack the player or their teammates uses for the rest of the fight will fail to hit. After several rounds of this, the fight ends, a cutscene plays, but Shadow Rise is never formally defeated.

Instead, real Rise and Shadow Rise have dialogue after the fact as if she had been defeated, and things proceed as normal from there as far as Rise is concerned.
3. One of, if not the single most infamous achievements in "Persona" history is the "Hardcore Risette Fan" that is often the sole difference between players earning that Platinum trophy, and spiking their controllers at the wall in frustration. To get this trophy, the player must listen to Rise deliver a large amount of unique navigation lines. How many unique lines must they hear from Rise?

Answer: 250

Navigation lines are when Rise makes some kind of comment on what is going on in a given combat encounter. Every time she does, a small icon of her head will appear in the top left corner of the player's screen, a rectangular text box will offer subtitles, and Rise will say the line in question.

Rise has a total of 459 unique navigation lines, and to earn the trophy, the player must hear 250 of them. Only having to hear slightly more than half of Rise's total lines doesn't seem like too big of a deal at first glance. Upon further review, however, this achievement is tedious but also requires the player to play in a very odd manner. Due to how the lines work, the player will be required to afflict their own teammates with nasty status effects, get them low on health, and even eventually have everyone other than Yu Narukami straight up killed. All of these events proc Rise to provide unique commentary, which will be necessary to eventually earn 250 lines.
4. One of the biggest differences between "Persona 3" and "Persona 4" was the bounty of new things the latter's Navigator, Rise, could now do. Which of the following can Rise do for the party?

Answer: Heal them after every fight

If leveled up to 41, Rise will learn Healing Wave. As the skill implies, Rise will now be able to heal the entire team for 5% of their max HP after every encounter. At level 73, Healing Wave becomes Vigor Song, which carries the same effect only enhanced up to 10%.

Rise can also restore the same increment of SP with Relaxing Wave. She can allow the player to immediately escape combat encounters, randomly apply buffs to the party as a combat encounter drags on, she can strengthen All-Out Attacks, she can take a would-be fatal blow for Yu Narukami and she can cause the locations of treasure chests and nearby enemies to appear on the player's mini map while dungeon crawling.

Needless to say, Rise is a lot more useful than "Persona 3's" Fuuka Yamagishi. Though that isn't saying much due to the latter's relative uselessness.
5. Despite being the Navigator and never directly participating in combat, Rise has been given some surprisingly strong stats. In a normal, unhacked and unmodified game of "Persona 4", will Rise ever use these stats?

Answer: No

Much like Futaba Sakura of "Persona 5", Rise was given stats as a means of stopping the game from soft-locking should the player hack Rise into an actual combat encounter, or if they wanted to install Rise as the navigator before she actually joins the team. In the very original "Persona 3", Fuuka Yamagishi was not given any stats at all. If anyone tried to hack Fuuka into a combat encounter, or if they tried to have Fuuka become the navigator before she actually joins the team, the game would soft-lock and the player's playthrough would come to an immediate end.

Giving stats to Rise allows the game to not, for lack of a better term, panic when examining her as a combatant and seeing actual stats. Though Rise cannot actually do anything in this state other than stand still and guard, and though she will die if hit even a single time, it's at least better than the game essentially shutting down completely. Even if one could argue that such a result would be entirely due to the player's fault.
6. Almost immediately as Rise joins the team, it becomes obvious she is very romantically interested in one of her new teammates. Who is this?

Answer: Yu Narukami

Neither the game nor Rise make any effort to hide this. In fact, the game does everything it can to shove Rise's crush on Yu straight into the player's face. Examples come in droves, but extend to flirtatious dialogue in and out of social links and even flirtatious combat lines, namely cheering Yu on by saying he really "gets her going" if he kills an enemy in the middle of combat.

The funniest instance of Rise's flirtatious nature towards Yu comes as the player begins the Margaret secret boss fight. As Rise is analyzing Margaret's power level, she will first remark on Margaret's natural beauty, then will get angry at Yu and demand to know how and where he met her.
7. While the team is searching for the serial killer, they'll visit Rise's workplace. While doing so, they'll find a man hanging off a telephone pole, with a camera in hand, aiming it right at Rise's bedroom. Is this man the killer they were looking for?

Answer: No

As it happens, this man was very simply one of many who unfortunately stalk Rise. In this particular scene, the team chases the man up to a congested road, where they corner and capture him. He is taken away by Adachi, but is later revealed to have not been the killer.
8. During Yasogami's Culture week, the second year class puts together a "Group Date" booth. The idea largely fails, but surprisingly, Rise stops by to check on how things are going. When she arrives, what does she do?

Answer: Immediately leaves

Rise does not even say a word. She walks in, looks at the glum, depressing table of five students who are there, and simply walks away.
9. On Valentine's Day, Rise will enter the second year's classroom and surprise the entire team, including the person in question, by giving someone a Valentine's Day gift bag. Who does Rise give a gift bag to?

Answer: Chie Satonaka

Rise clarifies that she believes Valentine's Day isn't just for romantic interests, that people should feel comfortable giving gifts to their friends as well. Chie, stunned at first, seems very pleased with Rise as she does this, and ended up taking after Rise's example in giving chocolates to Yosoke and Yu as well as Yukiko.
10. Representing the Lovers Arcana, when maxing Rise's social, the player will be able to create the Ultimate Lovers Persona. Who is this?

Answer: Ishtar

Ishtar is well known for being the most adequately equipped to handle healing and supporting endeavors. She has access to Salvation, Heat Riser and can also learn various Wall and Break skills should the player desire them. Despite being weak to Wind, Ishtar learns Absorb Wind via level up, making her out to be a very self sufficient Persona. Ishtar has enough move slots to where the player could try to use her more offensively, though she is definitely best at tackling a support oriented role, something she does arguably better than any other Persona in the game.
