Maya was found next to her sister's dead body, distraught over the scene. This is the first thing Phoenix saw when arriving at the crime scene.

For the second case in a row, the murder weapon is The Thinker. Maya Fey, per the autopsy report, was bludgeoned to death with it.

On Maya Fey's body is a receipt with the word "Maya" written on it in blood. Gumshoe deduced that this must've been the victim writing the name of the killer as one of her dying acts.

Grossberg doesn't explicitly offer a reason for this, but the reason he gives is that it has to do with Maya Fey's occupation as a spirit medium in training. This is relevant because Mia Fey, her mother, was also a spirit medium famously outed for being a fraud fifteen years before the events of this game.

The wiretap was, unsurprisingly, directly attached to the office where the murder took place in. This will later be used as evidence to prove that Ms. May heard, not saw, what went down.

Almost the entirety of April May's testimony was a lie, which is revealed when Phoenix Wright cross-examines her. As a result, she was found in contempt of the court. As lying under oath is obviously a very serious offense, she is found at the Detention Center the next day.

This is Redd White's attempt at showing Phoenix that he is above the law, and cannot be apprehended.

As part of his flaunting, Redd White tells Phoenix he will formally accuse him of having murdered Mia Fey. As he is very powerful, he is able to order the criminal affairs department to send Detective Gumshoe over, who arrests Phoenix Wright on the spot.

Answer: She was killed in just one blow

Given the floor plans of the building, it is impossible Redd White could have seen Mia Fey dodge to the left from where he claimed to witness the scene - from a hotel room window across the street. In order to have physically seen her go to the left, he would have had to have been there in person.

The other contradiction here is that the autopsy report, as well as April May's testimony, both clearly point out that Mia Fey died in just one, not two blows. This is another blatant lie from Redd White.

Answer: Redd White

Redd White is ultimately undone by the very same thing used to name a suspect initially- the receipt with "Maya" written in blood on it. On the other side of the receipt is a list of names. These names are people whom Redd White has blackmailed. With Mia having come upon the list, Redd White would have been in extreme trouble had this list made it to the public. And here, it did, giving Maya Fey the Not Guilty verdict and the player the W as the trial would come to an end.
