Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In "Elden Ring's" Altus Plateau, there actually literally is a dragon on the hill! Who is it?

Answer: Ancient Dragon Lansseax

Lansseax primarily makes use of lightning based attacks, including her own signature Lansseax's Glaive incantation.
2. It's not quite a hill, but just past the Royal Woods and in front of a hill of "Dark Souls 1" is a dragon! Who is it?

Answer: Black Dragon Kalameet

Kalameet is a tough boss who is entirely optional within the "Artorias of the Abyss" DLC. This is one dragon (kind of) on the hill whose name you won't forget after fighting him.
3. In "Dark Souls 2" we do get to see a dragon on top of a shrine, which was probably once a hill. Who is the boss of the Dragon Shrine?

Answer: Ancient Dragon

The Ancient Dragon has more HP than any boss in the game, and will kill even a max level character in two solid hits minimum. When defeated, it drops a Petrified Dragon Bone and a Soul of a Giant.
4. In "Dark Souls 3" there are quite a few dragons on the hill- the appropriately named Archdragon Peak is full of them. Who is the boss here, residing at the highest of such hills?

Answer: Ancient Wyvern

The Ancient Wyvern is indeed found on the top of the hill. However, in poetic fashion, the player must go towards "the building" the Ancient Wyvern resides next to, whereupon the player must scale this building and drop on top of the Wyvern's head for a one shot plunge attack.

There's probably a rock somewhere the Ancient Wyvern can rest atop while waiting for the player to do this. Sadly, there are no trees.
5. There isn't a dragon on any hill of "Elden Ring's" Liurnia of the Lakes, but there is a Wondrous Physic Flask which, when consumed, grants the user infinite FP for 15 seconds. What boss drops this flask when defeated?

Answer: Erdtree Avatar

Although this boss is very weak to Fire, the area it is fought in frequently experiences rainy weather. It would be best to continually reload the area until the weather is clear, if planning to use Fire for this fight.
6. There aren't any dragons on any "Elden Ring" Hills on the Mountaintop of Giants. But there are a few important Smithing Stone Bell Bearings to be found here. Where can one of them be found?

Answer: Zamor Ruins

There are several Zamor Warriors who will attack on sight here. Torrent can be ridden here, and it's quite easy to evade the attacks of the Zamor Warriors on horseback. Intelligence builds should also pick up the Zamor Ice Storm sorcery which is found in this area as well.
7. No dragons to be found, as well as no hills in "Dark Souls 2's" Lost Bastille. However, there is a friendly NPC "lady" here who will begin her questline here. Who is this?

Answer: Lucatiel of Mirrah

When spoken to here, Lucatiel's summon sign will appear for the Lost Sinner boss fight. She will also appear in No Man's Wharf where her questline can be continued.
8. There aren't any hills in the Valley of Drakes in "Dark Souls 1", and Drakes aren't technically Dragons... But it's still pretty close. We can backtrack from Blighttown or New Londo Ruins to get there. Or, we can get there straight from the start of the game using what key item?

Answer: Master Key

The Master Key will allow for immediate access to the Valley of Drakes once the player reaches Firelink Shrine. Drakes aren't technically quite Dragons, and the only hills in the area are sadly completely desolate, save for a Red Tearstone Ring looted atop one. It's a shame, really.
9. "Dark Souls 1" has a massive Dragon in the early game found at the Undead Parish. It's sort of close to a hill, so that's something. How much damage will this Dragon's attack do to the player?

Answer: Infinite

It isn't possible to survive a blast of dragon breath to the face, even with maximum Vigor and full Havel's equipped. This almost necessitates a ranged approach to deal with the threat, making the Dragonslayer Greatbow live up to its name.
10. "Dark Souls 3" understood the greatness that is Dragons on the Hill. From Software quite literally made the Archdragon Peak, after all. How many Dragons are on this glorious Hill in total?

Answer: Five

There is an Ancient Wyvern boss fight, and the Nameless King boss fight begins with him riding a Dragon into the fight. Upon arriving at the Dragon-kin Mausoleum, there is a large Dragon corpse inside the room right next to the bonfire. Finally, right behind the Havel NPC fight, there is another Dragon corpse.
