Answer: Sinnoh Stone

 Sinnoh Stones evolve a handful of various Pokemon into their fourth generation evolutions, such as Piloswine into Mamoswine. They are thankfully not too hard to acquire, but it may force players to engage in a bit of PvP to earn them reliably.
2. The mascot of Team Mystic, Articuno received a dedicated raid day in 2018 whereupon it was given a new, eventually Legacy Charged move. What move?

Answer: Hurricane

 Sky Attack would have been great. Yet, instead, Articuno got the very lowly Hurricane. Hurricane is already a pretty bad move, and Articuno lacks a Flying fast move to pair with it, rendering it ultimately useless for raids. In PvP, Hurricane was never really explored as a serious option until 2020 when Ancient Power was greatly nerfed, and Articuno gained access to Icy Wind.

This led to Hurricane becoming an appealing option to pair with Icy Wind, as it costs a lot more energy than Icy Wind and actually does impressive damage in PvP.

Answer: Ice Beam

 The combination of Ice Shard + Ice Beam is overall inferior to Avalanche, which a lot of the best Ice types have access to. Nevertheless, it's a solid albeit unspectacular option for players who are starved for Ice types. It also performs excellently in PvP, letting Lapras turn into a reliable Dragon slayer. Given Lapras' great overall bulk and access to Surf for a second Charged move, Lapras is a worthy adversary in Great and Ultra League.

Answer: Blizzard

 As a legendary Water type, it is natural for players to want to amass a team of Grass types to put the mighty blue whale down. Blizzard Kyogre is therefore arguably the deadliest raid boss in the game, capable of using Waterfall to drown anything that isn't a Grass type, and Blizzard to freeze those Grass types over. Electric types are useful to try and play around this, but Electric types do not resist Kyogre's Water STAB, so they will get hammered by a Kyogre with Water moves.

 Though the chances are only 20%, the move's low energy cost makes it easy to use it a handful of times every match, increasing the chances of gaining the buff.

 Weather Ball Ice was, at one point, ridiculously overpowered. It was a three-barred move which was blindingly fast and hit like a truck considering its energy cost. Combined with Mega Abomasnow's great stats, and it simply embarrassed the competition.

Weather Ball Ice would go on to be massively nerfed. It remained a three-barred move, but it was made to be a little bit slower and its base damage was nerfed. Most underratedly but arguably most impactfully, its energy requirement was ever so slightly increased, interrupted Mega Abomasnow's early game DPS with it and making it difficult to string them together.

All in all, Mega Abomasnow settled into the meta as *arguably* the best Mega Ice type in the game, with Mega Glalie as its competition. A perfectly viable, even great but hardly overpowered threat.

 Even if Icy Wind is shielded, it will constantly offer this utility without fail. Combined with its low energy cost, and this is a fantastic move to use with a large reward and very minimal risk on use.

Answer: Icicle Spear

 Icicle Spear is a three-barred move with a fairly fast damage window and middling overall power. As such, it is a fairly middling move which did not seriously move the needle on Walrein's viability in raids. In PvP however, it was a great option to give Walrein a low-cost move to pressure the opponent's shield with.

Answer: Glaciate

 Glaciate is a fast and furious two bar move that is actually statistically the strongest Ice move in the game. Kyurem's potential is still curbed by a lack of Ice type fast move, but Glaciate is so powerful that it's often able to overcome this disadvantage.
10. Mewtwo is one of the most iconic, powerful Pokemon in the entire game. It can use its wide movepool to fill a myriad of roles, even though Mewtwo is only a Psychic type. In order to become an Ice attacker, what move must Mewtwo equip?

Answer: Ice Beam

 Ice Beam is overall a fairly ho-hum move in this game, and Mewtwo does not have an Ice type Fast move to pair it with. In spite of this, Mewtwo having very good all around stats makes it a perfectly viable Ice attacker. It doesn't rise up to Mamoswine's level in this role, but it's better than pretty much any Ice type who themselves isn't incredibly powerful.
