When Tony Blair became the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in 1997, he already held positions as the First Lord of the Treasury, Leader of the Labour Party, and Minister for the Civil Service. Winning the election in 1997, 2001, and 2005, he became the longest serving prime minister of the Labour Party at that time. In 2007, he resigned from all his political positions.

Answer: Benazir Bhutto

Benazir Bhutto was the eleventh Pakistani prime minister, serving from 1988 to 1990 (her first term) and then from 1993-1996. Her father was the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. When she was first elected in 1988, Benazir Bhutto became the first woman Prime Minister of Pakistan, as well as the first woman to be elected leader of any Muslim state.

Babur (alternately Baber or Babar) was the first Mughal Emperor, which he laid the groundwork for. Though he met with some setbacks, he was able to conquer part of the Indian Subcontinent, creating the Mughal Dynasty. His reign lasted from 1526 until 1530.

James Buchanan served as President of the United States for one term, from 1857 until 1861. During his inaugural speech (the first to be photographed), he mentioned the Dred Scott Case. He wrote the Chief Justice, John Catron, in 1857, about the case.

He felt a broader decision needed to be met, and that slavery was wrong. He was also the president during the Panic of 1857, when goods ran dry (probably caused by the over-consumption of goods the previous years). Prices skyrocketed, and there was a panic, thus the name.

Edmund Barton was the first Prime Minister of Australia, but resigned less than three years later in 1903. Upon resignation, he became one of the founding members of the High Court of Australia. He served in this court until his death in 1920, at the age of 70.

Sirimavo Ratwatte Dias Bandaranaike became the Prime Minister of Ceylon in 1960, and was in office until 1965. She had become the first female Prime Minister of the country at that time, as well as the first in the modern world. In 1970, she became the Prime Minister of Ceylon once more, which lasted until 1972.

It was in this year, during her second term, that Ceylon became a republic and was then called Sri Lanka. She then, therefore, became the first Prime Minister of Sri Lanka after the name change.

She remained in office until 1977. She resumed her position as Prime Minister once again in 1994, and that lasted until 2000.

His full, Malay title is as follows: Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam.

The Dynasty ruled the Kingdom of Munster until the 12th century. At this time, they were reduced to ruling just the Kingdom of Thomond, which lasted until 1542.
