The revelations were published in a book known as the Koran, which was the basis of Islam. 476 was the fall of Western Rome, 1453 was the fall of Constantinople, and 313 is when the emperor Constantine converted to Christianity.
2. Which Roman emperor split the Roman empire in two in an attempt to preserve it?

Answer: Diocletian

Diocletian was Roman emperor from 284-305 CE. He also was known for persecuting Christians because their religion decreed that God should be first instead of the government. Remember kids, Diocletian "di-vided" the Roman empire in two because it was too vast to manage on its own.
3. Who was the Byzantine emperor who created a law code for his territory?

Answer: Justinian

Hammurabi codified Mesopotamian law, Yaroslav codified Russian law, and Napoleon codified European law. Justinian's greatest military leader was the general Belisarius.

Answer: Kublai Khan

In modern times, it has been calculated that Mansa Musa's net worth at the time was the equivalent of 400 billion dollars. The main source of his wealth was Mali's vast resources of gold and salt.

The city of Timbuktu was a major trading hub for the empires of both Mali and Songhay.

The Era of Division was also known as the Period of Six Dynasties. Yang-di was the second and final ruler of the Sui, Li Yuan founded the Tang after assassinating Yang-di, and Shang Ming is made up.

Answer: Zhou and Qin

There was an Era of Division between the Han and Sui dynasties, but it is not the same as the Period of Warring States.

The events leading up to the Battle are beautifully depicted in the Bayeux Tapestry. 618 CE was the end of the Sui dynasty in China, 711 was the spread of Islam to India and Spain, and there's nothing particularly special about 555 CE.

Abu Bakr was the one who the Sunnis thought should succeed Muhammad. Muhammad, while an able military leader, had no role in the crusades, which occurred hundreds of years after his death. Uthman had no real military impact.

Shihuangdi means "First Emperor", and he reigned from 220 - 210 BCE. Nearly 2000 years later, in 1974, a farmer eventually stumbled across it and archaeologists have now been excavating it.

Alexander the Great led his first troops into battle at age 16. Each of the three wrong answers were Greek academics. Plato and Socrates were both philosophers, and Hippocrates was a physician. The Hippocratic Oath is named after him, an oath that is still in use today (although not usually in its original form).

Answer: Louis XIV

Absolutism is the system in which absolute power lies in the hands of a king. Louis XIII started the construction of Versailles, but Louis XIV completed and expanded it.

Answer: Henry VIII

He divorced his first wife, executed his second, his third died a natural death, he divorced the fourth, executed the fifth, and the sixth outlived him.
