Victor made it happen but Victor also became more powerful, at the same time, and saw that he did not have an oversized and muscular Ben to stop him. Ben reverted back to his bigger self and used his super power abilities to beat up Victor. Chiklis was in the films "Eagle Eye", "Carlo's Wake", and "Nixon."

Reed brings a single white lily for Sue while she is asleep in the Von Doom Medical Facility. Latveria is actually not a real country and only exists in the Fantastic 4 comics. The country is mentioned in the movie by one of the bankers when they refuse to give Victor a loan. At the very end of the film, Latveria is printed on the crate Victor is stored in. In the comics, Victor is the ruler of Latveria. Victor is played by Julian McMahon of Nip/Tuck fame.

Von Doom is the Latverian dictator in several other incarnations of the "Fantastic Four" movies, however in this film he is a simple immigrant from the country, who works with Franklin Storm at the think tank that he runs. Doom still has some of the evil tendencies he's shown in the past. By the end of the movie he has turned into a being with powers, bent on destroying the world. Victor's heritage is brought up several times in the movie, specifically when he is being vetted to be brought back into the project after Reed agrees to work with Dr. Storm and his team.

Victor was the bad guy from the first "Fantastic Four" movie. In this movie, he appeared again, first to try and ally himself with the Silver Surfer, then as an 'ally' to General Hager. Since he had spoken with the Silver Surfer and videotaped the encounter, he had information that was very valuable to General Hager. The Fantastic Four did not trust him, and after helping them to build a trap for the Silver Surfer, he took the Silver Surfer's board and began to wreak havoc for the Fantastic Four.
