1. At the site of the crashed Raptor on Kobol was a volatile situation; the Raptor was in flames and its passengers rushed to escape the wreckage. Gaius Baltar was caught behind a wall of fire. What happened that convinced him to escape?

This event began Baltar's entrancement on Kobol. Six called out to him to take her hand, and he had enough love for her to follow through with it. When he reached the exit, Crashdown broke him out of his trance and the two barely escaped before the Raptor exploded.

Tom Zarek, the terrorist who had blown up a government building on Sagittaron was selected to represent them. While talking to some of the deck crew, Colonel Tigh said a few unorthodox things. When talking about the fresh water they found on the planet, he said, "Couple of lemons, we could make lemonade," followed by a short chuckle. The deck crew showed signs that they knew he'd had a few.

During the constant flight from the Cylons (with the Cylons attacking every 33 minutes), the Olympic Carrier disappears, only to reappear several hours later. When the ship disregards these orders and nuclear weapons are detected aboard, Roslin and Adama reluctantly give orders that the ship be destroyed.

The result was that most everyone in the fleet heard the announcement that the president had collapsed. We then saw Doc Cottle scolding the president because she had taken three times the dosage of her medication. When Roslin wanted a shot (presumably of adrenaline) to stand up confidently in front of the people, she started to roll up her sleeve. "It's not that kind of shot," Cottle remarked, and Roslin gave him a hesitant look.

Answer: Cylon centurions attacked and Sharon wound up missing.

Helo certainly couldn't have picked a worse time to use the toaster (which is ironically a nickname of the Cylons). When his breakfast popped up, and the centurions saw Sharon, the shooting began. Helo took on the centurions only to pass out. When he awoke, he looked for Sharon in the bunker, but she was nowhere to be found.

It was only after Helo told the Cylon that he didn't love her that she was desperate enough to win his heart once again. It was difficult to tell what Karl Agathon was thinking at that time, but we later see that his feelings for Sharon are rekindled.

The two had indeed found Kobol, the birthplace of humanity. Crashdown believed that it would be the answer to all their problems, that they could live on the planet. When he asked if it was Earth, Sharon said, "No, it's not Earth. It's more important than that."

The Raider, hit by Apollo's shot, jumped erratically, but never got very far from the fleet. After each encounter, the Vipers would close in and barely miss as the Raider would jump again. Tigh made the decision that they would gain intelligence on the fighter by engaging all their sensors on it.

They discovered a bomb shelter complete with food, water, medical supplies, and a Colonial distress beacon with an enormous power supply of batteries.

It seemed that Sharon had placed several explosives in the water tanks in order to deprive Galactica of their precious water. When investigating the tanks, Tyrol tried to play down the fact that they had been destroyed by explosives. He was trying to protect Sharon, and in the end, no one found out about her involvement. The master at arms believed they would likely never know who had sabotaged the ship.

Answer: Dr. Amorak could have possibly exposed Baltar as the one who let the Cylons into the Defense mainframe.

When he heard the name, he popped out of his seat and eagerly forced himself into the conversation going on between Billy and Roslin. He asked to personally handle Dr. Amorak's request. The Six in his head antagonized him during the conversation, yet he was somehow able to keep his cool. Later in the show, we found out that Dr. Amorak happened to be aboard the Olympic Carrier, a twist of fate that perhaps saved Baltar's life. The Six, who had been attempting to make him see God, forced him to repent for his sins, which he reluctantly does. The result is a seemingly supernatural force guiding Gaius to safety and the Olympic Carrier is ordered destroyed by the president.

The Cylon, a copy of the Leoben Conoy Cylon which Commander Adama encountered in the mini-series, is interrogated by Starbuck to little avail. When Roslin arrives the Cylon makes a number of claims and then grabs her, whispering urgently in her ear that Adama is a Cylon. Realising that he will only tell further lies and sow discord, Roslin orders the Cylon put out of the airlock, setting a precedent for future captured Cylons. However, the seeds of suspicion about Adama have been successfully planted in Roslin's mind.

The Arrow of Apollo was located at the Delphi Museum of the Colonies in a display case. When Starbuck tried to secure the arrow, a Number Six appeared and the two scuffled. Starbuck eventually killed the Cylon when she dug a knife into it after tackling it over a ledge.

Remembering all they had been through, she ran quickly back to Helo and told him that they had to get moving, and do it fast.

Sitting on the toilet, Gaeta was a little surprised when Gaius began talking with him from the next stall. Baltar pleaded for him to look at the evidence carefully, for he knew it was a fake. Later, Shelly Godfrey entered the restroom and Gaius was quick to corner her in a stall. It did him no good, though, as she refused to acknowledge anything.

In fact, Lee was the very person who suggested deploying the CAP in the first place, something he later admitted to the president. Roslin was adamantly against its deployment and she even went aboard the Galactica to reprimand the Adamas. Colonel Tigh and Felix Gaeta also protested, though Tigh's protests were direct while Gaeta's were slight and he showed his disapproval through uneasy glares. The Colonel's protests even got him relieved.
