Robin Hood began to steal from the rich people to help out these poor oppressed people.

The Sheriff wanted to put a stop to Robin Hood's actions and get rid of Robin Hood. However, Robin Hood had the support of all the poor people, his "Merry Men" and Maid Marian.
5. In eight different movies, Alan Rickman played this character who seemed to be evil early on. But as the movies progressed, especially at the end, we learned that there was more to him. What was this character's name?

Answer: Severus Snape

SPOILERS AHEAD! The plot of the "Harry Potter" series is as follows: Voldemort was a very evil man and basically killed anyone who opposed him. Lily and James Potter had a baby they named Harry Potter. Voldemort asked Lily and James to join his side but they refused, so Voldemort had them killed.

He tried to kill the baby Harry Potter but the killing spell did not work on him due to his mother's kiss on his forehead. Instead, Harry ended up with a scar that looked like a bolt of lightning. Harry was sent to live with his aunt, uncle and their son.

They, however, knew that Harry was different because they know that his parents were wizards. So they treated Harry horribly, making him sleep under the stairs instead of giving him a bedroom. At age eleven, Harry found out that he's a wizard and attended Hogwarts.

While there he met his two best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Together the three of them got into a lot of trouble, but in each movie they ended up saving the day. In "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", Harry received a prophesy that stated, "Neither will live while the other survives". Harry understood that it's either him or Voldemort.

In the end of the movie series, Harry faced Voldemort and after a long battle defeated him. Before this defeat he learned that Snape killed Albus Dumbledore because Dumbledore was sick and dying. He knew that Voldemort sent Draco Malfoy to do it but also knew Malfoy couldn't do it so it had to be Snape. He also learned that Snape was not evil after all; he was merely a man who was in love and rejected by the woman he loved, Harry's mother Lily.
6. In 2010's "Alice in Wonderland", for whom did Alan Rickman supply the voice?

Answer: The Caterpillar

SPOILERS: "Alice in Wonderland" is about a little girl named Alice who is bored with her studies. When she sees the White Rabbit, she chases him down a hole. There she meets all sorts of interesting creatures including Absolem the Caterpillar who smokes a pipe and gives advice.

When Alice tells him she doesn't know where she wants to go he tells her that it doesn't matter which direction you go in. Ultimately, Alice faces the Red Queen who wants to behead her but Alice fights against the deck of cards and makes it home safely with the help of the White Queen.
7. With a very recognizable voice, Alan Rickman was on the album "When Love Speaks" (2002). What did he recite?

Answer: Shakespeare's sonnets

"Love Speaks" was a collection of Shakespeare sonnets read by famous people. He read sonnet 130 "My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun".
8. Who was Rickman's long-time girlfriend and eventual wife (from 2012 to 2016, when he died)?

Answer: Rima Horton

Rima Horton was born on January 31, 1947. She and Rickman were together since 1977 but did not marry until 2012. She was 18 and he was 19 when they met and started dating.
9. What was the cause of Rickman's death on January 14, 2016?

Answer: Pancreatic cancer

It was a big surprise to his fans when he died as he kept his illness from everyone but close friends and family. Fans soon showed their love for Rickman by creating a memorial at platform 9 and 3/4 at London King's Cross railway station.
10. What actor co-star said after Rickman's death, "I'm pretty sure he came and saw everything I ever did on stage both in London and New York. He didn't have to do that"?

Answer: Daniel Radcliffe

Daniel Radcliffe is probably best-known as playing the title character in the "Harry Potter" movies. During their time on the set they became good friends and Radcliffe looked up to Rickman as an actor. During one of the earlier "Harry Potter" movies, Rickman played a practical joke on Radcliffe where he put a fart machine in Radcliffe's sleeping bag.

The machine kept going off and everyone was looking at Radcliffe who didn't know what was going on but knew Rickman had something to do with it. When he found out what it was everyone had a good laugh. That was the kind of man Rickman was...serious about his acting but also able to have a good time. Rickman will never be forgotten, and it is sad he died so young.

Here's to you, Mr. Rickman!
