Their highest UK chart placing was no. 79 and shortly afterwards the band split up. Gervais is best known in the UK as the creator and star of the sitcom 'The Office'.

He has also hosted the Golden Globe Awards ceremony a number of times including for three successive years between 2010 and 2012.

Billy Connolly was born and brought up in Glasgow. In the 1960s he worked as a boiler maker in the Glasgow shipyards before pursuing a folk music career in the 1970s.
