Answer: Diana Dors

Diana Fluck was born on October 23, 1931 in Swindon, Wiltshire, England, UK. Dors was advertised as the English version of Marilyn Monroe. Actually she started her career before Marilyn Monroe. She had curves like Marilyn and was stated to be a better actress.

In 1951, Dors married Dennis Hamilton. He died in 1959. Dors married actor Richard Dawson, who later was game host of "Family Feud". They had two children, Mark and Gary. The couple divorced in 1967. She married actor Alan Lake in the early 1970s and they had one son, Jason.

She was featured on the LP cover of the Beatles album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (1967). Some of her work included "Oliver Twist" (1948), Broadway Jungle (1955), A Kid For Two Farthings (1956), "Room 43" (1958), King Of The Roaring 20's--The Story Of Arnold Rothstein" (1961), The Counterfeit Constable(1964), "There's A Girl In My Soup" (1970) and "Hannie Caulder"(1972). Diana wrote two autobiographies, "For Adults Only" (1978) and "Behind Closed Doors" (1979).

She had two TV shows "The Diana Dors Show" in 1959 and 1981. She appeared in music videos with Adam Ant. She died on May 4, 1984 of stomach cancer. Sadly, her husband, Alan committed suicide 5 months after her death.

Thompson was born in New York in 1954. With the group Chic, number one R&B hits "Le Freak" and "Good Times" were successful. In addition, he played behind artists as diverse as Madonna (on "Like a Virgin"), Mick Jagger (on the solo album "She's the Boss"), Debbie Harry, Sister Sledge, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Jody Watley, Duran Duran and Robert Palmer.

He died of renal cancer on November 12, 2003; he was only 48.

Answer: Bud Blake

The "Tiger" cartoon strip won awards from the National Cartoonist Society in 1970, 1978 and 2000 and was nominated many times. Blake also won the award for Best Humor Strip, most recently in 2000. The charming and humorous comic strip consisted of Tiger, his brother Pumpkinhead, Hugo, who was his best friend and his dog Stripe.

The comic strip continues but Blake gave up creating own work at age 85. His career covered over 40 years as a cartoonist. Blake was born on February 13, 1918, in Nutley, New Jersey.

He died at age 87 on December 26, 2005.

Answer: Mickey Mantle

"The Mick" was born Mickey Charles Mantle on October 20, 1931 in Spavinaw, OK. In his 18 year career, spanning the years 1951 to 1968, he hit 536 home runs. He was in 12 World Series. He wore the New York Yankees jersey number 7 and it was retired. In his career with the Yankees, Mickey played more games (2,401) than any other player.

He won three Most Valuable Player awards in 1956, 1957 and 1962, and in 1956 won baseball's Triple Crown with a .353 batting average, 52 homers and 130 RBI, leading the major leagues in all three categories.

He hit 536 career home runs, third highest when at the time of his retirement and the most ever by a switch-hitter. Mickey appeared in 12 World Series during his first 14 years with the Yankees, winning seven World Championships.

His record of 18 home runs, 42 runs, 40 RBI and 43 bases on balls are still World Series records. He made history with the longest home run and it is in the Guiness World Record. He retired on March 1, 1969. He wrote various books about his life in baseball and in 1985, his book "The Mick" was a best seller.

His autograph and baseball card are worth a large sum of money. Mantle died at age 63 on August 14, 1995 in Dallas, TX.

Gobel voiced Humpty Dumpty in this TV movie. George Leslie Gobel was born on May 20, 1919 in Chicago. IL. George was nicknamed "Lonesome George." In his early career, he was noted for his mild mannered comic delivery. He was one of the first to hit the TV circuit in 1952. By 1954 he had his own TV show called "The George Gobel Show" that earned him an Emmy Award.

His little man appearance in movies wasn't well received. He continued working as a guest host and made guest appearances on other TV shows.

In 1981, he played the mayor on the TV series "Harper Valley PTA". He died on February 24, 1991 following heart surgery.

Frederick Schiller Faust was born on May 29, 1892 in Seattle. Faust was known as an American western writer. He mainly used five pseudonyms but is most famous for Max Brand. He invented the western character "Destry" and also non-western character "Dr. Kildare", which later became a popular television series.

He did his part as a front line correspondent during World War II. Sadly, he was mortally wounded and died on May 12, 1944.
