Penn Jillette, born in Massachusetts in 1955, is the talking half of the magicians known as Penn and Teller. They teamed up in 1981, performing off Broadway, on Broadway and to national audiences. Penn is also the author of the 2016 book "Presto!: How I Made Over 100 Pounds Disappear and Other Magical Tales" which humorously discusses his weight loss on the "potato diet".
He has appeared on TV shows like "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" and "Dancing with the Stars", was the spokesman for "Comedy Central", and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013.
