Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Carrie Fisher

Answer: Billie Lourd

Actress and author Carrie Fisher (1956-2016) came to fame by playing Princess Leia Organa in the "Star Wars" franchise. She has been in the "Star Wars" movies, including "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in 2015. Disney announced that, despite her death, she will appear in "Star Wars: Episode IX", using unused footage from the 2015 film.

In 1983, Carrie married songwriter Paul Simon, only to divorce him a year later. On July 17, 1992, Carrie and talent agent Bryan Lourd had a daughter they named Billie. Billie followed in her mother's footsteps and had roles on the TV shows "Scream Queens" and "American Horror Story".
2. Tippi Hedren

Answer: Melanie Griffith

Actress Tippi Hedren, born Nathalie Kay Hedren, is known primarily for two films, i.e., "The Birds" in 1963, and the lead role in "Marnie" the following year. Tippi's other claim to fame is in the genes which she and her former ad executive husband Peter Griffith (not to be confused with Peter Griffin from "Family Guy") passed on to their daughter, Melanie Griffith. Melanie's break-out role was in the film "Working Girl" in 1988.

In addition, Melanie and her ex-husband, Don Johnson, passed those genes to their daughter, Dakota Johnson, star of "Fifty Shades of Grey" (2015).
3. Susan Sarandon

Answer: Eva Amurri Martino

Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon has had an interesting romantic life. Her birth name was Susan Tomalin. She was married to actor Chris Sarandon from 1967 to 1979, and kept her married name as her stage name. She then partnered with film director Franco Amurri from 1984 to 1988.

The relationship produced daughter Eva Amurri who made her film debut in 1992 in Tim Robbins' film "Bob Roberts" and then "Dead Man Walking" in 1995. In 2011, Eva married soccer player Kyle Martino and, in 2014, they had a daughter, Marlowe Mae Martino. Will she be the third generation of actors?

In 1960 she married actor Bruce Dern and, in 1967, they had a daughter, Laura Dern. Peggy Lipton played Julie Barnes, the token female, for which she won a Golden Globe in 1970 for Best Actress. Sadly, Peggy died on May 11, 2019.

In 1974 Peggy married iconic musician Quincy Jones and, on February 26, 1976, their daughter Rashida was born. Rashida has appeared on the TV shows "Parks and Recreation" and "Angie Tribeca", and in the movie "Toy Story 4" in 2019.
