Born in Quebec, Canada, she first recorded in French but it was when she started recording in English that her career took off world-wide. Her two albums "Falling into You" (1996), and "Let's Talk About Love"(1997) were certified diamond. The latter contained the behemoth "My Heart Will Go On". It was with this letter album, Ms Dion won her fourth and fifth Grammy award.

His film company, Jersey Films has produced such movies as "Pulp Fiction" (1994), and "Garden State" (2004). His short stature caused by a genetic defect called Fairbank's Disease, lent himself to be cast in comedic roles.

His breakout role was in television as taxi dispatcher Louie De Palma in "Taxi" (1978-1983) though he had gained prominence in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" where he met producer Michael Douglas.

This was the start of a long collaboration between the pair most noticeable in the two "Romancing the Stone" movies (1984, 1985).
