I Did it Again". Personal issues dogged her success with several adverse antics and not so infrequent hospitalisations published in the popular press.
She married childhood friend Jason Alexander (not to be confused with "Seinfeld"'s Jason Alexander) in 2004 at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas but the marriage was annulled 55 hours later.
Jason Alexander's subsequent claim to fame was that he dated Shar Jackson in 2012, who was Kevin Federline's ex-partner. Federline became engaged to Ms Spears in July 2004 whilst Jackson was still pregnant with Federline's baby.

She married Michael Jackson three weeks later but filed for divorce in January 1996. She then married Nicolas Cage in 2002 but the marriage only lasted four months. Nicolas Cage is an acclaimed American actor born in 1964 in Long Beach California. He won an Oscar for Best Actor in 1996 for "Leaving Las Vegas" He was married to Patricia Arquette from 1995-2001 but has a son, Weston (b.1990) from a previous relationship with actress Christina Fulton. In 2004 He married Korean Alice Kim but the couple separated in 2016.

Renee Zellweger is a renowned actress and producer, best known for her starring role in "Bridget Jones' Diary" (2001). She was born in 1969 in Katy, Texas. She had several roles before she gained worldwide attention playing opposite Tom Cruise in "Jerry Maguire" (1996). She won, among other awards, a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2004 for "Cold Mountain" (2003).
Kenny Chesney was born in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1968. He is a well known country singer-songwriter and record producer. From his first twenty albums, fourteen were certified gold. He has had over forty top ten hits on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, many of which have featured highly on the mainstream charts. He has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
Zellweger was engaged to Jim Carrey in 1999 but she married Chesney in May 2005 (Chesney had not been married previously either). However the marriage was annulled four months later.
5. Michelle Phillips

Michelle Phillips was born Holly Michelle Gilliam in 1944. She married John Phillips when she was 18 and, with her husband, co-founded The Mamas and The Papas in 1965. She co-wrote the group's biggest hit, "California Dreamin'" in 1966. After the group broke up and she divorced her husband she became an acclaimed actress, being nominated for a Golden Globe (Best Newcomer) for "Dillinger" (1973) in 1974. She was one of the main stars on "Knots Landing" for six seasons from 1989.
Dennis Hopper (1936-2010)was a talented actor and movie star. He first became noticed working alongside James Dean in "Rebel Without a Cause" (1955) and "Giant" (1956). "Easy Rider" was his directional debut, a movie in which he wrote and starred as well. Later in life he enjoyed a renaissance as an actor as the villain in "Speed" (1994)
The two met on the set of "Dillinger" and married soon after. Their marriage lasted eight days.
6. Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez was born on 24 July 1969 to Puerto Rican parents in New York City. She is a singer and actress. After a start as a dancer, she became an actress in 1993 and gained worldwide attention when she was paired with George Clooney in 1998 in "Out of Sight". In 2001 She was the first person to simultaneously have a number one album and number one movie with "J.Lo" and "The Wedding Planner". Lopez's personal life has been heavily reported on by the media. She married Cuban waiter Ojani Noa briefly from February 1997 to January 1998, she then dated rapper Sean Combs but left him because of illegal activity. She then married Cris Judd, divorced and became engaged to Ben Affleck, but did not marry him. She Married Marc Anthony in June 2004. The couple had twins, a boy (Maximilian) and a girl (Emme) in 2008 but Anthony filed for divorce in 2012.
Cris (Cristan) Judd was born in Abilene, Texas in 1969 to a Filipino mother and a Portuguese father. He considered a career as a pro-golfer before going to college and became a choreographer of some repute. He met J-Lo in 2000 as he was hired to choreograph the video to "Love Don't Cost a Thing".
They married in September 2000 but the marriage ended in June 2001.
7. Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor was born in 1932 in London to American parents. She had dual citizenship. In 1939, with war in Europe looming her family moved to Los Angeles. She was offered her first acting role in 1941 before she was ten years old.
Conrad Nicholson "Nicky" Hilton Junior was born in 1926 in Dallas Texas. One of four siblings, he was the son of hotel entrepreneur Conrad Hilton.
Hilton and Ms Taylor were married in 1950 when Taylor was only 18. The marriage lasted 205 days. Ms Taylor admitted she was naive about marriage, and Hilton was apparently abusive and a heavy drinker. She went on to marry seven more times to six men. He married again in 1958, and had two sons before dying at 42, in 1969.
Ms Taylor died in 2011.

Cher was born Cherilyn Sarkisian on 20 May 1946 in El Centro, California. She had a difficult childhood and dropped out of school to become a dancer. She met Sonny Bono in 1962 when she was only 16. Mr Bono believed in Cher and tried to promote her as a single act. It wasn't until they had a joint song "I've Got You, Babe" in 1965 that they hit the big time (Sonny appeared initially with Cher on-stage to quell her stage fright). They subsequently earned their own TV show in 1971, "The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour" which was very popular in its three year run. The couple were married in 1969 when their daughter Chastity was born. All through the "couple" era, Cher has a single career covering several genres of music. The marriage ended in 1972 but they stayed together on stage for appearances.
Gregory (Gregg) LeNoir Allman born 8 December 1947 in Nashvile, Tennessee, is an American musician, and singer-songwriter. With his brother Duane they both formed the Allman Brothers Band which had mainstream success (his older brother was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1971 but the name and band endured). He had been married briefly twice before, when he met Cher.
Cher and Gregg were married on 30 June 1975 but Cher filed for divorce nine days later because of his alcohol and drug issues. While the marriage only lasted nine days, they later reconciled after the divorce and had a son Elijah. Allman married again in 1979. Cher as a single mother looked to movies and so started another aspect of her career.

Dennis Rodman was born in Trenton, New Jersey on 13 May 1961. He was am influential small/power forward in the the NBA representing Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, and Dallas Mavericks between 1986-2000. He has also been a professional wrestler. He is known for his controversial behaviour.
Ms Electra and Mr Rodman were married in Las Vegas in 1998. Rodman filed for an annulment nine days later but the couple reconciled. However the relationship lasted only four months. Ms Electra later conceded she had married Rodman as a way of coping with the death of her mother and only sister within weeks of one another. Both married again.

He received consecutive Best Actor Oscar nomination between 2013 to 2015 for his roles in the romantic comedy "Silver Linings Playbook" (2012), "American Hustle" (2013), and "American Sniper" (2014).
Ms Esposito and Mr Cooper were married quietly in December 2006 and filed for a divorce in May 2007, less than six months later.
