Stephanie Courtney was born in Stony Point on February 8, 1970. Stony Point is located in Rockland County, near the Hudson River. It became a town in 1865. In 1779, it was the site of a Revolutionary War battle involving General "Mad" Anthony Wayne. Stephanie later moved to New York City, 35 minutes away, to pursue her comedy career.

The Groundlings are based in Los Angeles. The group was founded by Gary Austin in 1974. Many "Saturday Night Live" cast members got their start with The Groundlings, including Phil Hartman, Will Ferrell, Jon Lovitz and Mike Myers.
The Groundlings also run an improvisational comedy school, and some graduates are invited to join the company.
Will Forte of "Saturday Night Live" put Stephanie in his film "The Brothers Solomon" (2007), along with several other members of the Groundlings during the birthing class scene. Forte is also an alumni of The Groundlings.

Stpehanie's husband, Scott Kolanach, was the lighting director for The Groundlings when they met. In an interview with "People" Magazine, she said that Scott always gave her favorable lighting because he liked her. Stephanie and Scott were married November 25, 2008.

Courtney played Marge, the switchboard operator, during five episodes of "Mad Men" in 2007. She can be seen in "Nixon vs. Kennedy", "Shoot", "The Hobo Code", "Marriage of Figaro" and "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes". Marge can be seen in "The Hobo Code" at 5:30 in and 18 minutes in. She is mainly a comic relief character.

"The Heartbreak Kid" starred Ben Stiller as a bachelor who married Malin Akerman on a whim, but fell in love with Michele Mongahan on his honeymoon. Courtney was one of Monaghan's quirky relatives.

Her character was Melissa Kelly from ESPN2. The scene with Stephanie was about 27 minutes in. She interviewed Amy Poehler and Will Arnett during the sign-ups, and then rushed to interview Will Ferrell and Jon Heder when they arrived.
"Blades of Glory" was a parody of "The Cutting Edge" series of films. Ferrell and Heder played skaters who hated each other, but teamed up as the world's first all-male pairs figure skating team. Poehler and Arnett were their rivals.

Courtney appeared as a new mom, with a baby named Tyler, and gave a short speech. The scene was about two-thirds of the way through. While her name was not mentioned in the scene (it might have been cut), in the credits she was listed as Sara. "The Brothers Solomon" featured Arnett and Will Forte as two idiotic brothers who were using a surrogate mother (Kristin Wiig) to produce a grandson for their dying father.

While not the worst film starring "Saturday Night Live" cast members, it was remarkably stupid. Coincidentally, Malin Akerman, who starred in "Heartbreak Kid" also appeared in "Brothers Solomon."

Answer: Cavemen

Courtney appeared as Diane on three episodes of the short-lived series "Cavemen" in 2007. The episodes were: "The Shaver", "Nick Jerk, Andy Work" and "Caveman Holiday". Only the first two episodes actually aired.
"Cavemen" was inspired by the GEICO insurance ads featuring cavemen. Bill English played a caveman IKEA manager named Joel, and Nick Kroll was a caveman graduate student named Nick. The show was a casualty of the 2007 writer's strike.
